Neighbors down the street were throwing out a portable air conditioner and it worked fine. They told to go to Home Depot and buy the parts for it. The employee at HD told me to order a product on Amazon so I picked this one. Perfect fit! Worked great all summer especially some of those hot weeks in July! Highly recommend.

The vent hose was a bit big for the mounting plate , but duct tape solved that problem. Product does the job I bought it for, so I am satisfied.

I needed a quick replacement instead of spending hours looking for the hose. The adapter connecting the hose to the back of the unit does not match. Good old duct tape did the job. In general terms, make sure to purchase 8 inch aluminum ducting to go over the exhaust hose as these hoses are removing hot air from the room and need to be insulated in order to avoid a large electric bill. No manufacturer of the A/C floor units will tell you this. My electric bill was $500.00 a few Summers ago. After installing the ducting on 2 floor units the bill was back to normal. It’s a $19.00 item on Amazon. Cover that very hot hose going out the window.

Be sure you check the diameter of your hose before ordering! Our hose and window panel had become damaged overtime, so this was a great solution/replacement. Would totally recommend.

It’s not universal. It didn’t fit it. It doesn’t work. I don’t know what he’s saying is universal because it did not fit my floor model LG garbage.

Worked great. Wish it adjusted a bit smaller but overall a great product.

Not quite universal. the part didn't quite fit on back of our airconditioner, but with some adjustments and duck tape we got it to work.
