Easy to Install
Just finished hooking this adapter up. Wow! Talk about noticing an increase in speed. It was easy to install. It just fits right into your USB port on your computer. My brother in law had one. Had to get one given his worked so well. Thankful to have found this.

Lasted two months than fried itself.
UPDATE: It lasted about 2 months then started started connecting/disconnecting every few seconds. When I pulled it out of the USB drive it felt hot enough to fry an egg on. There is no warranty or manufacturer contact info. with it, so I guess I'm screwed.Possible driver and support issues. Although it comes with a CD for driver installation, Windows 8 (and likely other Windows versions as well) will NOT automatically find and install the drivers for it. There is no "www." Internet address anywhere on the package or instruction sheet for support or online driver downloads. No CD drive on your PC? My fix was to go to (www.)iobit(dot)com (sorry, Amazon doesn't allow me to type the actual link) and download/install/run Driver Booster Free Edition, It's a legit program (no viruses or malware), it's free and it will find/install the Broadcomm driver for it in under two minutes.

Can't install the drivers
I can't leave a good review for this item. I bought it someone to get my MacBook to connect to WiFi, but what this fails to tell you is that it comes with a mini CD which won't work with my MacBook. The instructions are in broken English. This may work great for a Windows computer which is why it has one star, but for everything else, it doesn't work.In order to actually try to install, I had to go to a different computer and copy the files over to a USB drive. However, plugging it in and attempting to install the drivers comes up with an installation error. They're is no way that I can find a link to a website to install drivers either so this really feels like a waste of time and money. I will be sending it back for a refund.

Works with windows but not with Linux or red hat
I had to send this product back because it did not function with Linux and red hat. If you’re going to be using this for windows it works perfectly!
