I use a lot of hardware cloth on my property. I use it for the chicken coops and runs. I also use it to cover over open spaces in the barn where I want airflow but not raccoons and opossums sneaking in. It has so many uses. I have had rolls from other vendors with problems in the middle, missed wires, wires pulled together and if you are right in the middle where you need a whole piece, you've got to cut that part out and waste a chunk of material. I had no issues at all with this roll.

Hardware cloth is indispensable, in my opinion, for any homeowner and even more so for anyone that has animals. For instance, I used this roll to make a temporary cage for baby chicks that are so small they can escape their regular chicken wire cage. I like to keep various sizes on hand for various projects. This particular product is really nice due to the width – 48 inches is sufficient for most cage and fence projects and can be cut down for smaller projects I have even doubled it in unusual circumstances. Wider is better in my opinion!

Wow... quality you can touch and feel and see...It is really great to work with THIS type of heavy duty material...At a time with it seems "shrinkflation" or inflation through making things smaller, lighter, weaker...THIS product is going with the opposite trend of increased VFM or value for the money...

The 1/4 inch roll is made from sturdy wire that is galvanized for outdoor life. The wire will stand by itself (although you might want some framing to make it easier to handle, especially around the corners and bottom edge) and it will withstand the wickedest attacks from those wily wabbits. This roll will find good use in our garden to protect against those furry fiends. Fortunately, we do not have a deer problem, so the 2-foot height will make it easy to reach over for weeding and harvest. Excellent!

It's well-constructed and galvanized, and was listed for the same price as non-galvanized hardware cloth from the hardware store. If the price makes sense compared to local options, the quality is equivalent and you can't go wrong. If it breaks down or rusts sooner than expected, I will update this review.

This is really an aggressively priced hardware cloth that doesn't skimp on quality. The 19ga. thickness will handle any livestock or predators. Same stuff you get at the big box stores but significantly cheaper.

I love how strong the wire is and how easy it is to cut. As expected, foxes and raccoons have been thwarted so far.
