WOW
I have 2 boys and once of them wanted a small and medium drone for Xmas and he's loving them, unfortunately the 'care and share' mentality I am trying to teach them has not reached as far as their favourite toys!I got this one for the eldest with the idea that he can give his smaller nano drone to my youngest until he's ready to step up to one of my eldests old drones! It's a perfect recycling scheme! You get a Drone and everything you normally get in these packages including:Spare PropsControllerProp GuardsThe drone iteslf has Return to home, altitude hold and the usual recording functions which my boys have never used, however when compared to my FSGTD Drone we got last year this one is a step up and has a slightly steeper learning curve so I would put this in the category of intermediate drones.NOTE - This drone only supports FPV (as most do) and you will need a monitor/phone and VR goggles in order to enjoy the FPV mode, however I would not even mention this until your kids/you get used to flying normally.ALSO - According to my kid, headless mode if for novices (nice way of putting it) and there's no other way to fly aside from the true method! As always, you should check what you can and cannot do in your local area as we recently got chased off a Supermarket car park for flying this around on a Sunday!I really like this drone, I only wish it was available in different colours as I'd have liked to have a choice in these (well, my boy would've). As a parent this is not such an expensive hobby, as I've managed to pick these up for both new and second hand from between 10 and 40 GBP. We also joined a local group where drones are swapped and shared, if you find such a local club it makes hobbies like this more affordable and safer, as once you have one of these generally owners are already thinking of their next model up (so I've been told by club owners)VIDEOS TO FOLLOW (IF THEY SURVIVE THE TEST PHASE INTACT)

Smooth flying
This was a birthday present. My son loves this drone and is very happy with it.I was a bit concerned when it arrived in a rectangular box and was split into different pieces. I had thought that it would come apart after even the smallest of crashes. It is in fact well built and despite our inexperienced flying it is yet to show significant damage and neither has it split into pieces after crashing. After a bit of research on Amazon, two key features to have in any beginner drone are altitude hold and headless mode. The hold made it very simple for us to operate this. It maintains its own altitude and will roughly hold position whilst you are deciding which direction to fly in.The remote control is of good size and my son can easily hold it. It does have loads of controls so it is best to refer to the guide before using it. It definitely takes a little while to understand what the different buttons do. 360 flips are pretty cool! The camera is strictly average at 2 megapixels so don’t expect a 1080p output as such. It is clear enough for basic footage though and works rather well with the FPV feature.

Good entry level drone
This is a suitable entry level drone for someone looking to get into drones with camera (2mp).It is perfectly fine flying within the indoors (the onboard gyroscope doesn't counteract)A large indoor space with no obstructions with no obstructions (i.e. large livin room) would be suitable, once you get the hang of the controls. The JJRC app (store), is mostly OK. As a safety mechanism you have to reconnect to the drone when you crash into the wall, but it only takes seconds. The digital controller works withIt's not suitable to be flown in windy weather as it will likely get blown into some trees.

Great for a beginner
Great for a beginner. It was very easy to assemble and excellent for entry-level fryers. This is so simple to operate straight out of the box after the battery is charged. Battery life is really good (20 min) and it is fully charged for an hour but I do suggest you buy the extension kit. The camera quality is pretty good and it has a good flying range. The features like 3D rotation and headless make more for more demanding piloting and tonnes of fun. You can make and save videos and pictures straight on your phone with the wifi controlled app.

could be worth more.
my husband is a drone lover, he got a few expensive drones and they are all over 500 quids. when I got him this one, he thought it is a kids toy, but he was impressed after played. it was flying stable , under control really well, nice brand, battery normally last about 5 min., but his 1000 quids SPARK just can fly for 10 min., and this one is more then 20 times cheaper then his other ones. it could be worth more then it was. we are very satisfied with it.
