ZICO Premium Coconut Water, Natural, 11.2 fl oz (Pack of 12)

This review deserves zero stars. There should be a choice for zero stars vs being forced to choose one through five. This product isn’t worthy of even one star. I ordered and received 10 boxes (12 bottles inside each box) of this Zico coconut water. I poured my first glass and the water was brown so I opened a second one and the water was brownish, yellow seen in the picture. I then googled to see if this is normal and discovered it was not and was in fact dangerous. I then looked on the label and found the manufacturer’s number and called looking for answers as to why my water was tainted and I was told not to drink it because the discoloration is caused by MOLD!! The expiration date on each bottle is June of 2018 so this should never have happened. I informed him he should do a product recall and asked why Quality control at the manufacturer location was not checking this water prior to shipment. He not only gave me no answer the man I spoke with told me they would not be able to refund for any unopened containers as some may still be viable. I opened 8 while on the phone with him and all were toxic and I told him that since they all came from the same lot number sharing the same expiration date they likely were all filled with mold. He told me their policy is to reimburse for only half the amount. I hung up the phone as he seemed unconcerned with the issue. Thank God for Amazon intervening and reimbursing me for the full amount. This could have made a small unaware child or an elderly person unfamiliar with coloring knowledge very, very sick. Shame on you Zico for your lack of quality control as well as csr. I pray no one ever orders from your company and that you send out a product recall notice.

This brand tastes very fresh to me. I could taste an odd flavor in the Coco Vita brand. Vita adds sugar but Zico's only ingredient is coconut water.When you get coconut water without preservatives it can go rancid easily. So always smell and taste it first and refrigerate as soon as it arrives.I like that the containers are small because I've found if I leave a half empty large container out all day it can easily go bad.I've drank a lot of coconut water because I find it helps me with anxiety. Potassium deficiency is linked with anxiety and so to me the cost is worth it.

I like the flavor, but further research on coconut water reveals its not as healthy as it claims to be. Sure it helps you heydrate because the sodium and sugars help your body RETAIN water. If you're into exercise UIm sure this wont effect you, but if you're looking for a healthy drink: beware, this is basically glorified natural sugar water!!! I must admit I bought another case before discovering it. It is addicting because of the salt and sugar (12 grams per 11oz)? thats alot.

I wouldn't be without this product. It helps keep my potassium level where it needs to be! I have been drinking one a day for years!!!! I ended up on the hospital because of low potassium---and I can't eat bananas and this helps tremendously. I drink it "straight" every morning. It is also good in smoothies!

My favorite coconut water brand, ever! Tastes like its directly from the coconut itself... makes me reminisce about my childhood and growing in Jamaica (the island).

I really enjoyed the taste of this brand coconut water especially when its cold. It is fresh and high in potassium. Shipping was fast and no pink stuff was in the cartons. I will buy more it's my new favorite.

One of my 3 favorite drinks, the other 2 being Pokari Sweat and just plain water. Especially refreshing after a day out in the sun.

Ingredients state only coconut water. However, the product also contains "deionized pear juice". This is hugely misleading, especially when description also says "no added sugar", but pear juice of course contains sugar. I specifically bought this brand because it seemed to be 100% pure coconut water with nothing else added, as I was led to believe by the ingredients shown in image 4 and the product description. Will not purchase this brand again.

I chose to try this over what I used to buy from the local supermarkets as I wanted a "no sugar added" coconut water. Decided to pour a little to taste before putting the rest to chill in the fridge, and first thing I noticed was the brownish color. Tasted a tiny bit sourish but otherwise tasteless, maybe because of the lack of additional sugar? Then I saw the previous reviews that I must have somehow missed before placing my order. I thought of finishing up my other coconut water before going into the rest of my Zico ones, but now I'm having second thoughts about doing it. Did a quick google on brown coconut water, plus not seeing a response to the previous reviews here, I'm not sure I'll buy this again.

I bought this brand because our usual Yeo’s coconut water was OOS. I chose it cause the photos and materials stated that the only ingredient was coconut water. However, it is not the case and “pear deionzied juice” is also listed on the actual drink packet. Buyers beware!

One side of the product picture shows 60 calories per drink while another picture shows 70 calories per drink. The box i received - didn't have "No Sugar Added" at all - while the product picture shows that label. This is terrible advertising - borderline scam.The attached picture is what I got - but if you look at the same image on the product page - you will notice "No Sugar Added" but that is missing in the picture I have attached.
