SELLER IS A SCAMMER! BE AWARE!
We bought this specifically because it said it could be used in Germany. None of the attachments fit into the German outlets. The one that appears to be designed for use in German outlets has the prongs about 1/3 of an inch too close together and won't fit. This seller is a scammer. When we found the product defective and not working, the seller said they would refund us if and only if we made a paypal account, sent them all the information of that account, and then agreed to edit our review to be positive. It makes me wonder if all the good reviews here were purchased. This is not okay.

... on a trip with this thinking it would be great and she could use it while studying abroad next ...
I just sent my daughter on a trip with this thinking it would be great and she could use it while studying abroad next year. Wrong. If she keeps using it, she'll have nothing left to charge. Plugged in her iPhone and it shocked her. Disconnected it and her phone started vibrating. Now she is in search of a converter. Amazon you should stop allowing this device to be sold. People buy it for trips and upon arrival in a foreign country discover it doesn't work and it burns out expensive electronics. DON'T BUY IT. actually I suggest going to a reputable local store where they care about the customer and buy a converter. The last two I bought through Amazon don't work.

FIRE HAZARD
Don't do it. This item is supposed to convert 220 down to 110.The only way I could test it was when I was out of the country (USA). Well when I got to London it promptly melted two phone adapters. The electrical burning smell is what brought my attention to it before it caught on fire. The USB ports worked OK. But I never trusted it after the meltdown. When I got back to the USA I returned it. I don't know if this was just an defective one or what but I will never use any converter and go to sleep leaving it plugged in....it could have burned down the hotel.

Will Electrocute You
Plugged it in, turned it on, picked it up to plug my phone in and it shocked the hell out of me. Unplugged it and will be sending this crap back as soon as I get back to the US. The USB ports must be wired wrong. Worst part is huge QC sticker right on the side of it. You expect stuff to work but worse yet when it shocks the hell out of you.

Dosn't convert - Puts out 230V. Tested 3 with a multi-meter
UPDATE: I found out why it fried. Used my multimeter and it's putting out 230V! Nothing to do with watts. Its not even converting anything! I had 3 units and I tested ALL 3.... and ALL 3 were putting out 230V!DO NOT BUY or you can replace your stuff like I did. 1 off, sure a dud... but 3 units off purchased months apart???? BAD DESIGN-------------------------------------------I just fried a ryobi 18v batter charger with this that puts out 55w so not sure why it fried.Im not leary about plugging in my TV, soundbar and Wii into this as i fear i will blow 1000 bucks as soon as i turn those one

Another product to scam you out of your money...
I bought this because it had usb And USA plugs. I plugged in a few of my heavy duty portable chargers and some of my filming equipment and the more you plugged in, the slower it charged. The killer was when I plugged in a hair straightener into it. The handle on the hair straightener become unusually hot. I immediately plugged it out and from there on, the plugs were dead. USB ports were still functioning. Regardless, this is just some cheap china junk that will fry your valuables. Save your money and get something much better than this. DONT any chance on it, even if youโre on a budget. Youโre not rich enough to buy cheap stuff.

Sleek design, portable, adapts practically anywhere, worked great!
I bought this for a recent trip with a friend and found it easy to use and adaptable anywhere. I chose the converter because I wanted to avoid having to worry about switching the voltage on my hair tools plus with all of the adapters. It fit didn't take up much space in my carryon and now I should be set for anywhere on my bucket list.Note: Before your trip, check all of my devices to ensure that they fell within the acceptable voltage.I will tell you that occasionally I would be using my hairdryer for 5 minutes and it would shut off... I don't know why and was careful not to exceed the voltage, but this happened on maybe 3 different occasions. For it to come back on, all I had to turn it off for a minute. It came back on everytime and I was good to go! Sure beats using the hotel hair dryers, although some places don't offer that luxury depending on where you are. With all the different plug options, my friend and I were able to charge our devices and cameras for the next day. I'm glad that I bought it and recommend buying it. I will hopefully need it again in the NEAR future. Travel on!!! โ๏ธ๐๐๐ณ

Don't buy
Bought this over a month prior to an overseas trip. It looked legit and had all the functionality we needed (adapters for 2 the different countries we were visiting, power converter to handle all of our power needs, USB ports) so we packed it up & thought we were golden but it was a piece of junk. The first time we used it, it made a loud pop and smoked, and blew the breaker in the apartment we were renting. Damaged the TV, wireless, and 2 usb charging cables. Tried to return on amazon but it was out of a 30 day window. Called and thankfully spoke with an awesome amazon rep who refunded the money but there was a restocking fee assessed despite it being defective. She issued us an amazon credit to make up for that loss - I do love amazon customer service! BUT DON'T BUY THIS POS! (And general advice, be skeptical about 3rd party sellers!) Wish I'd spent more time on the reviews for this one!!
