Stays cool for a good couple or hrs. Glad it came with a freezer bag as I don't like the smell my other cool pads have developed from my curries and chilli con carnes.It fits well around my shoulder and has good straps to stop it moving around if I have to potter around the house.

I am recovering from a broken shoulder and bought this to use cold following physio that I have to do 4 times a day. It's brilliant, fully wraps my shoulder and upper arm, and it stays cold for ages. Comes with a bag to stop it picking up smells from the freezer. Must more effective than traditional ice packs.

Bought for my frozen shoulder, like how it comes in its own pouch, I kept mine in the freezer & use for 30 mins. The only downside is it’s quite bulky & if your walking around with it on it can feel like it’s pulling your arm down but if you just sit with it on it’s fine.

Purchased this to recover quicker from some laser tattoo removal. It gets cold fairly quick and fits great around the shoulder. Am sure it would come in handy if I ever had shoulder issues too.

Good quality product however it is heavy when frozen. As my sisters shoulder is broken and plates and pins are holding the bones together, my sister is unable to use it for her shoulder, however as her hand is swollen as well, she is using it to reduce the swelling on her hand. Product would probably be good for muscle pain, but it is too heavy with her delicate shoulder break

Perfect timing to try this out as my wife is suffering from a painful shoulder & arm.This arrived nicely protected, has a quality feel to it and not the one time use that some others have.The chill useage was the really appreciated and it reduced the swelling/pain so many thanksEasy to use and fit, really recommended

The product stays cold. The material is good. It needs another anchor point for the straps.I have to sit hunched forward to get it to stay where I want it to be.The pucture on the packaging shows a happy smiling man. That is not me.I wish I bought a packet of frozen peas instead.

I have either short head biceps tendonitis or supraspinatus that is affecting my shoulder. Warmth and rest seem to do most to ease the pain. I ordered this compress to use as a heat source on my shoulder to relieve the pain and promote healing. Unfortunately this compress is too heavy for my shoulder and the extra weight causes more pain. This compress weighs 1500g which is a lot of extra weight to put on an injured shoulder.If we leave the issue that this is not the correct product for my shoulder aside, this product is a really well made product that is filled with a large quantity of heat retaining gel which can be either used to cool or heat your shoulder. The gel can be cooled by putting the whole compress in a supplied food quality bag into the freezer or warmed by putting it in a microwave. The instructions give a list of heating times based upon the size code of the compress which it states is on the compress but there is not size or product identifier on the compress. I decided the heat the compress based on the time written on the compress rather than the instructions and whilst it recommended 20s +10s repeats, it took a total time of over a minute to warm the compress up in a 1000W microwave. It remained hot for over 30 minutes after heating.So overall this is an excellent compress, it is not suitable for my injury.

I was recommended to use ice pack everyday and loved the idea that this was meant for my shoulder. It freezes well and does serve it's purpose the only downside is the straps for me. Having a bad shoulder I find it hard to wrap straps around and not move sore shoulder. Easy if you have helper but not solo.

The ice pack fits well and, once set up, is easy to put on my shoulder, even with one arm out of commission. I have a torn rotator cuff, and this wrap is really helping to mitigate the pain. If I get surgery, it will hopefully speed up my recovery time. Once I pull it out of the freezer, it is a simple process to get it strapped on, even one-handed. No complaints.

This is a lifesaver for rotator cuff pain…much better than awkwardly trying to get a generic ice pack or bag of ice to do the trick. The only drawback is that even though I try to dry it off after use and then put it in the bag and then in the freezer, it still comes out later with ice formed on it. Then as I use it, the ice melts and it’s wet again.

Having shoulder surgery and using other ice packs were a problem with slipping and not covering well. Once I received this pack I didn't dread the ice as before. Maintains coldness well and is sufficiently chilled in the refrigerator. DON'T TOSS THE BAG that it is packaged in because it's perfect for seali g out refrigerator odors. Great fit and quality. Easily applied.Anyone with shoulder pain should invest in this product.
