This is a product you can have for a while to keep your yard looking beautiful. Like have an irrigation system. You got got to make dilute you cover your zones in your landscape yard that best suite your space. We have an large area so we brought 2 sets.

I grow a few thousand trees at three different sites. I have used other watering systems (that use batteries) and this one by far is the best. Other brands totally burn through batteries quickly or glitch out fast. This one is easy to set and is reliable. It’s logical how you set the watering times and frequency. I would suggest getting the extended warranty just in case. You never know with electronics that hang out in the elements. As you can see, I have mine mounted on a stake close to the ground. I put a white plastic kitchen trash bag over it to keep it out of the elements.

I've followed the instructions and set up 4 zones to run twice a day for 30 minutes. So far everything is working smoothly. Directions were easy to follow and took about 15 minutes.

Directions are vague & not clear..wasted my time and money

I’ve seen in previous reviews people complaining that all stations were triggering at the same time, which can be a problem if you have low water pressure.However, I have the opposite with my timer. In program mode, it always starts with only station 1 then at the end of the time moves to station 2, then 3, then 4.So that not only solves my water pressure problem but also allows me to set a different time for each zone.It’s all programmed now so I don’t want to experiment further but is it possible that all stations start at once if they’ve been set with identical watering times?

Easy to set & dependable timer/controller.I have an earlier version of this timer that is nine years old, that still works, that I use in our backyard.I needed a new timer/controller to replace a very old timer (for our front yard) that is 12+ years I old.I would recommend this timer if you need a multi zone timer that can be connected to a hose valve.

Keep the controller out of direct sunlight or else you will cook the electronics! You have been warned by many people including me. I left mine in direct sunlight and it no longer worked. My second unit (the warranty replacement unit) worked perfectly when I kept it out of the sunlight and heat. Highly recommended!

I had to replace a old Orbit system that I could not get replacement valves for any longer. It was more than 8 years old and work well until this spring when a valve failed to work reliably. This system replaces the old one and I see it runs on only 2 AA batteries instead of the 4 the old Orbit ran on. Seems to work really well.
