All ports worked well (USB3 HDMI). Seems well build although PSU for it did not seem well build and also got warm. But work not charge my carbon X1 with the original PSU plugged into the dock. Contacted manufacture via card in package, got a instant automated reply asking for the order number which I supplied but never heard from them since. (1 week later). Returned to Amazon for a refund. UPDATE They have just replied and apologized for the delay as the person who deals with it is on holiday. They say it should work and have offered to send a replacement. They have send a new item out. Will Update when I get it. (Great service if I get it)

The lack of USB ports or ports in generals on the new MacBook Pro is frustrating, but the fact you can get this and it open you up to having the functionality you use to get on bigger laptops. Admittedly it is a little pricey but Apple don't offer a product online and the build quality of this does show with the materials used on par with your MacBook and other Apple products.
