I actually kind of like that they are 2 diff materials. Good quality. Bought queen and they fit my queen pillows perfectly. True to color as well!

I have too-long hair (thanks to one too many bad haircuts, I'd rather deal with the headache of sitting on my own hair by accident all the time than the heartache of trusting the wrong hairdresser) which is a total nightmare all year long, but ESPECIALLY in the winter because of the insane amount of static. My hair is fairly low maintenance since it air dries totally straight, but if I take the time to curl it or style it in any way, the heat seems to activate some sort of automatic tangle/frizz setting for my hair and it's a battle every night to keep it tamed enough to get to sleep between the hair constantly getting in my face because it's floating around from static and the tangles that my fingers get caught in when I go to move my hair in the night.I heard silk pillowcases can help reduce static AND knots, so I was very pleased to discover that this pillowcase helped with both after the first night of use. The flip side of the pillow (the Tencel side) is perfect for when my hair is straight/low-maintenance and I just need a comfy pillow to sleep on that's super soft but not necessarily as slippery as silk, which I don't find to be the most comfortable texture to rest my head on. Especially in these colder months, I've been in "hibernation mode" and not doing anything in terms of styling my hair so I've been able to just sleep on the cozy Tencel side every night. It can be kind of a pain to keep the pillow from slipping and sliding all over the bed when the silk side is down (if that makes any sense) - I've been trying to sleep on my back to avoid wrinkles, but the only way I've been able to secure the pillow is by sleeping on my stomach and anchoring the pillow with my arm. I do appreciate the inclusion of a zipper to keep the pillow inside the case (because, again, it's slippery). It says it's machine washable, but I'm super hesitant to do anything but handwash just in case something goes wrong - it's not really a risk I'm willing to take.

I own many silk pillowcases and am super happy with this one. It's unique because it's the only silk pillowcase I have ever purchased that has two different sides. The first side is 100% silk which I can tell by the softness and lack of stretch is genuine and quality. The other side is a material I am unfamiliar with that was derived from organic wood pulp. It's not nearly as soft as the silk side, so you won't have trouble telling which one is which. For me, since I use silk pillowcases to protect my hair from split ends and for the health of my skin (and also for a better night's sleep), I'll almost exclusively use the silk side. However, I can see there are some circumstances I'd want the organic wood pulp side: perhaps if I've applied face cream and don't want to get it on the silk side I'll just flip my pillow over without having to swap out the case. I'm happy with it, and it comes in a nice box so I would consider getting it as a gift.

This pillowcase is made from very soft and luxurious silk, but the sizing is off. I thought I was ordering a king size, but this case doesn't even begin to fit my king pillows. Tried it on a standard pillow and it was too big. So back to the drawing board. Silk does protect your hair from tangles and split ends, but it's so slippery that my head slides down off the pillow at night, so I often wake up with my head on the mattress. This would have been an okay choice if not for the sizing, so I'll keep looking.

We have multiple silk pillowcases as we have a family blessed with lots of tangly hair. This pillowcase is top notch and makes a real difference in how tangled (if curly or stuck up, if straight) your hair looks in the morning. Additionally, you wake up with fewer lines on your face. For those who don't know 22 momme is the equivalent of thread count of 600. It's one of higher counts of silk and generally indicated solid quality but still plenty of softness.

I'm always on the lookout for a good quality silk pillowcase and I requested this through the amazon vine program. I think I would've preferred having both sides of the case be silk, but only having one side still works. It's a big pillowcase so if you have a pillow that's bigger than standard size, this could work for you (I did see a review that said it was too small for their king pillow so keep that in mind). The zipper is indeed hidden, so a plus if you specifically like that feature. I ended up hand-washing this which isn't ideal for me but I've messed up one silk pillowcase before by not washing it right so this is it now. I hung it to dry after. It's held up well so far so I'm pretty happy with it.

The pillowcase didn't seem any more comfortable than my others than do much different from my hair than my others. Do and with the description in the photo I expected two pillow cases and not just one my bad for that obviously. All around not horrible but not totally unexpected
