Mic was clear. That's about the only positive I have.
This is the type of earphones I typically use at my laptop. As with the other types that 3.5mm jack, the controls do not work. So I can't turn the volume up or done. I expected this.Sound quality is okay for what it is, meaning I can hear things but it could be better. My last earbuds similar to this had better sound quality. The mic on this one, however, is a lot clearer. Each time I made a call via Skype it was clear.I wore the earbuds like I did with the others, without anything on them. It was fine first and then it would start to hurt shortly after wearing. The edges around the opening are somewhat sharp to the touch and I think it started to eventually irritate inside. Also the little black pieces inside the openings would fall out and I'd have to keep putting them back in.I can't recommend these. You can get much better for this price. I'd never get them again.

SEMI-IN-EAR?
These are almost the worst earbuds I have ever used. I could not get them in a position in my ear that allowed for full bass response so they sound very tinny. To me semi-in-ear means falls-out-of-ear. I could not get them to stay in my ear very well. The little covers they give you to keep them clean are next to impossible to get on, it took me a half hour to get one on. The only good thing I can say is that the cord is a good quality.
