I bought these to go on the outside of our 24ft long workshop. They give a nice soft lighting effect. They arnt ideal if your looking for flood lighting to be honest as they dont cast light more than 4-6 ft. Ive faced ours down under an overhang, so you wouldnt think theyd gather too much light, being shaded. But on a sunny day they shine well on into the night and into the early hours of the morning ! really impressed with this. The do have a nice finish with the stainless steel effect casing and it feels like a nice quality item. Ive had these up now for over 2 years and they are still performing well. I dont know how they would perform if they were exposed to direct rain etc though. Overall easy to install and a nice quality feel item that will cast plenty of light, even in a more shaded spot in your garden. Reccomended product.

After a week of use, I am still very pleased with the 6 I bought. They arrived quickly and well packaged. Yes, they do not give out as much light as the first night, probably since they will have arrived fairly well charged and they will only re-charge partially during dark and wet November days. They will be superb in summer or after a long sunny day. I have used these as wall lights and they look great. The light output is good enough to read with. This appears to be a fundamental property which some purchasers fail to appreciate. When the batteries lose their efficiency after a year or so, it will be cheap and easy to replace the batteries. At just over £3 each, they are very good value. I have a related type of product which I also use to illuminate a step between 2 patios and as fence lights. The units are well built, look great and I am confident they will last but only time will tell. If they do last, I would give them a 5 star rating.

The lights are good and easy to install, my one problem is that one of the lights is not working and i need a replacement i opened up the light to see what the problem was and found that the terminals were rusted through so please could you inform the provider of the lights that one is not working and it should warrant a replacement , surely it should be under a guarantee and i should be entitled to a replacement to complete the sequence, i e mailed the providers and i have had no response for complete satisfaction i need amazon to ensure a replacement.thanks.

They are tiny! So please read the description as the photos don't really give you an indication. However they seem well made and come charged ready for use. The instructions are OK and even refer to the need to change the rechargeable battery in a year or so if it stops working. Personally I've found using a decent stand alone charger will recondition some batteries but these are probably not the best quality due to the price. I have used two, one either side of a 5ft wide step and they are just enough to see the step outline. It probably would have been better to put them on the leading edge of the step about three foot apart.

Small and quite well made. I ordered six. Five worked one doesn't. So I'll need to get onto Amazing or supplier. No doubt they'll sort it, bless them, but quality control on these (bargain cheap) Chinese-made lights is invariably the snag. On plus side it looks like a flight of potentially lethal outdoor steps at my house will shortly be nicely lit for very little cost and no wiring at all.Some days later: Clearly 'stuff happens' especially with these fairly low cost units - and complaining at this price point seems borderline unreasonable. So I skipped Amazon returns and contacted the seller directly explaining the problem to see if there was a low-agro solution. They sent me out a replacement unit with no trouble at all. So thank you for excellent customer service - very courteous, it is appreciated. I have amended my review stars accordingly.

I experienced similar lights to these in the garden of a property I stayed at recently and was very impressed at their performance. These are every bit as good. The plus points:- Neat design- Quality build- Easy to mount/detach using two exposed screw heads. Tip: make a template for drill holes by taking a rubbing of the back of the case on a piece of paper- Nice bright light even on a dull day - see photosThe only criticism is that it is not clear how the ON/OFF button works.If installing a row I would suggest 1m spacing between lights. Creates a very attractive nighttime garden feature.I will be ordering more for other areas in the garden.
