Rocktol is a very well built tool. I own one other version it's a little heavy for EDC at least for me so I tried this one I think it's like 7.8 oz. perfect for weight to function. There's a fine line between light weight and functional for what I use it for. I'm a mechanic so I use the Philips a lot, the knife and flat blade, I also use the scissors in the garden for pruning various plants mostly tomato plants it works good for that. The tools are easily accessible and smooth to deploy the tool is stiff to open for the pliers this should get better with time. Both my Rocktol's are very well built for the price.

I didn't even realize when I ordered this multitool that it locks individual tools in place, at first I thought it was a bit dangerous given how "sloppy" they moved. Granted, you can't have on out and another half way out and have either locked, you can only have one on each side out all the way to lock it. If anything else is up very far it won't lock.The blades on this are sharp, I diced up the bag it came in with the large blade, the little blade actually managed to knick me a little, no gore though. There aren't a ton of tools on this, but the ones it has work every well. The scissors are sharp enough I cut up the box it came in with ease. I like that it came with a sheath, though I'll probably remake it in leather, but it also has a pocket clip on the outside of the tool if you prefer to carry it that way. The pliers fold out easily, and the grip is quite comfortable. They don't open so far my smaller hands can't span it to squeeze it back together. Over all a great tool, I think comparable to the name brand ones. Certainly performs better than I expected given the price tag!

Good, sharp knife, and the jaws of the pliers close well. Fits well in my pocket while using and stores conveniently in the included case. Much more affordable than the brand with 'cowhide' in its name! No instructions, so it took me a minute to figure out the tool release mechanism (use thumb and forefinger to simultaneously pull back on the knurled tabs). Easy after the first time.

This Rocktol multi-tool set is incredibly useful. If you're like me, you spend a lot of time looking for various tools around the house. Now I have most of what I need in one handy tool. It comes in a good-looking black case, and when you take it from the case, it feels really solid in your hand.The first tool that you unfold is a pair of strong pliers. I need to use them often. You can then open up other tools on either side of the handle, like a flat screwdriver, a Phillips head, a knife, a bottle opener, scissors, and more. They all feel very strong and well-made.I had an older "army-style multi knife" for many years. Recently, I accidentally packed that older tool in a toiletries kit in my carry-on bag, which was of course confiscated by airport security. So I haven't had a tool like this for a few months now, and I really missed it. This Rocktol was a very welcome upgrade. It's a solid and good-looking, very multi-functional, larger than what I had before, and it's also very reasonably priced.

For the price, this has everything I would expect. It is a nice tool, and I am glad I got it.
