Organic To Green Great Barrier Chap Guard Herbal Lavender

To begin, I feel I need to start by sharing my story. I am 57 years old. Last February, I was near death. I was unable to eat, I was vomiting daily, my weight had dropped to 90 pounds (I'm 5'5") and my joints were deforming right before my eyes. My doctor accused me of being anorexic, something I have never been and even though it was plain that my fingers looked like they had been broken, he did nothing. My family could see that I was at death's door and they searched for a doctor who would help me. Finally, after begging and pleading I found a doctor who took me seriously and began tests to find out what was wrong. Turns out I had h pylori, something that was easily cured, and am suffering from an aggressive form of rheumatoid arthritis. It has been a year now and finally I am at a normal weight for my height and I no longer vomit daily. Unfortunately the rheumatoid arthritis is still quite active.During all of this my skin has truly suffered. During the worst of it my face was actually chapped. It didn’t matter how much lotion or cream I put on, my face remained chapped, like I had a serious wind burn! It was even painful. I searched and searched for a product that would help me but never found one that worked. By accident I found this. I liked that it was natural. More than that I liked the price, so on a whim I ordered it.After one week of use the chapping was gone. I could hardly believe it! The smell is incredible (lavender). It looks at first like solid coconut oil but easily melts onto my face. What is truly amazing however is that it isn’t oily. It melts right into my skin and for me, it makes my face glow. Since using this product my face has never been chapped again and I live in the desert southwest so I know dry!There are very few products that I say I can’t live without but this is definitely one of them. I hope nothing ever happens to make this miracle cream go away because I truly can’t live without it! My skin has never looked better!

I sent back my first order because it was dried out. It was pulled away from the container edges and was pretty hard and gritty. I returned it but the second one was exactly the same. When I try to use it, it goes on with little lumps all over my lips. Gross.

I have a mild case of eczema on my hands and it tends to get worse in the winter. I bought this on a whim while in Ulta. I started to use it on my hands before bed and noticed an improvement with my dry skin right away. The lavender smell is so nice and calming, it doubles up as aromatherapy! I found it on Amazon and will continue to use and buy it!

I love this stuff!!! My new go to for chapstick/lip balm. I love how clean it is too!

It's just not for me, I didn't feel like it moisturizes my lips or dry/chapped skin very well at all

at $9 an ounce I kept looking over my shoulder for the thief who was stealing my money. thats a lot of money for a tiny 2 fl oz jar. the stuff does work but it leaves a greasy area where u applied it. me, I dont like anything greasy... if it doesnt dry up within 10 minutes, its always going to be a no for me... but it smells wonderful. the lavender lingers and has a very soothing aroma. when u apply it, it makes u feel like u r sitting in a spa awaiting ur massage to start. if u dont mind stuff that doesnt dry up, than this product may be for u. it comes in a tiny, plastic, black jar that weighs almost nothing, which is a nice feature if u r looking to carry it around in ur purse. it doesnt take up much room and its lightweight.
