Quality, convenience, and value in a complete package.
A very handy and functional tool. Cordless for convenience. Includes exactly the two blade sizes I need... one suitable for panfish and one for larger fish. The supplied blades were extremely sharp. As others have mentioned, they are a little fidgety to install, but it's really no big deal. They stay put.The included case is very nice! It's quite slim (think of the form factor as being like a large book -- see photo) and there is room inside for doing some custom work to make slots for additional blades if you desire. The fact that it will reportedly accept blades from other brands is a plus, if accurate. The battery has the capacity to very easily handle as many panfish as I usually clean at once (10-15). The battery has a cool "fuel gauge" to read out the current charge level and a nice A/C-powered battery charger is included.I haven't used it enough to comment on blade edge retention, but I can easily sharpen that type of serrated blade with a small triangular stone, so it's not a concern to me. The build quality looks and feels very good and the ergonomics are excellent. The only drawback --and it's a minor one-- of an electric filet knife is that the handle is much larger in diameter than a normal filet knife and the blade is a little less flexible, so it's necessary to set up your fillet board next to the edge of the counter or table or raise it up on a block so you can get the knife horizontal to your work. I know that some folks like to keep a traditional filet knife handy for taking the skin off the fillets, but I don't find that necessary.I'm happy with this KastKing knife and think it's a good value, like their other products. I've been debating buying an electric fillet knife for years and I'm glad I finally got one.

Dull blades- can't recommend **UPDATED**
Update: KastKing reached out and sent a set of replacement blades. I haven't been able to give them a try yet, but they do seem better than the originals as far as sharpness. I will say that KastKing's customer service is top-notch. I'm raising my original 2-star review to 5 stars at this time based solely on their customer service. If I find that the blades aren't up to par, I'll do another update.Original Review: I purchased this set to use on an upcoming fishing trip last September. I caught a few bluegill and was able to give it a try. The blades were extremely dull and I almost had to resort to a sawing motion before I gave up and used a regular fillet knife. I decided to try it again recently on a couple catfish, but that was unsuccessful as well. If not for the blade issue, I'm sure this is a very nice set. Unfortunately, it is useless at this point. I own several Kast King products and overall have been very satisfied with their quality.

Works, but if you need more batteries, prepare for a work around
This knife works and the knives are sharp enough, but I have a HUGE problem: They don't sell additional batteries. You either get what you want up front or that's it. If it dies or you need a backup, you are screwed and just have to buy a whole new kit. Seriously.UPDATE 6/12/25 KastKing reached out to me and sent me 2 extra batteries. The process is kind of janky, they had me order something at the same price and put in comments I wanted a battery instead. A+++ for effort but IMO should be a standard offering.

A must for every fisherman
The Kastking electric fillet knife(Demon-pro) is a must for every fisherman. First the convenience of not having to plug in is huge: I used it to cut the throat of the walleye I caught to bleed them out in my live well. Next I was able to clean the walleye on shore without needing an outlet and having a power cord in the way. Super convenient. The case is super slim which makes it very convenient to carry to the boat. It comes with two blades and they are the perfect size to fillet both smaller and larger fish(Walleye and perch in my case). I will even use it to carve the Turkey on ThanksgivingThe stainless steel blades are razor-sharp and resistant to corrosion, ensuring smooth cuts and durability. Its high-speed motor and lithium-ion battery make quick work of even the toughest filleting tasks. The contoured handle fits comfortably in my hand, reducing fatigue and providing excellent control. Its superior performance, ergonomic design, and affordable price point make it an unbeatable value!

Great Value! Large but rugged design
My first impression is that this is a well built unit. The fit and finish is a little less polished compared to most KastKing products. The kit comes with two different blade styles - I'll probably use the smaller blades more often but it's nice to have the larger blades when needed.I like the safety switch location that makes it easy to disable the knife. The blade release switch is out of the way which prevents accidental blade release which is a problem on my other knife.I need to test out the kit on a few fish to see how I feel about the hand guard. The grip is a bit large diameter but has a non slip material and that guard should prevent your hands from slipping toward the blades. The bag is a great added value to help keep everything organized. Overall I would say this is a great value product. Time will tell how well the battery holds up.
