The TRANSPEED Surround sound bar is one of the least costly sound bars on the market. It is very intuitive and easily functionable. Simply pull it out of the well-protected box and plug it into an electrical socket with the enclosed cord. The sound comes from six driver speakers (2 (1-1/2”) and 4 (2”). They are spaced evenly out with the treble (smaller speakers) at the ends. There are multiple ways to connect music to the sound bar. On the back there are two RCA IN female plugs for Left and Right and an Auxiliary input. On the far right end is a USB port to directly input music into the sound bar and a small plug to hook-up your headphones.The entire sound bar is attractive with black and silver finishes. The center front has a light-touch manual control for On/Off, Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Reverse, Volume up and Volume down. A small series of six LED light show whether you are using a USB input, a Bluetooth, an RCA In/Out or the Surround.The kit also comes with RCA left/right cables, an auxiliary two-male cable that has an auxiliary plug on the other end and drywall inserts with screws for easy wall attachment. The remote control covers all the bases from a distance (batteries not included).The only thing I found not totally satisfying is the lack of bass. Even with the surround (which does enhance the music output), the bass was lacking. When watching films, bass is a huge driving factor is sound quality. One could always buy an external subwoofer to make up for this.I did like all the components and the many ways to play music (mine is using my cell phone), and the unit is light enough to be transportable to anywhere inside or out. I just wish the sound was a little richer, but then again, for this great price, one cannot expect to have everything.

I have a Sony sound bar that I use with my main, living room TV but I needed one for a secondary TV. I didn't want to spend a lot yet I did want a decent sound bar with a remote, good sound and Bluetooth. I found what I was looking for with this product.First let me say that if you are an audiophile you might want to spend more and get something high-end. If, like me, you are wanting something with decent bass, good range and ease of use you should be as happy with the Transpeed as I am.I had it hooked up in a few minutes and synched it to my cell phone in less than a minute. I played some jazz and then my favorite classical music through my phone. I was really impressed with the quality of sound that this bar produces. As for using it with my Visio TV it was SO much better than the set's built-in speakers. If you are looking for a good deal or need a sound bar for a second TV (this would be GREAT for a teenager's room) you might want to give the Transpeed a look.

Pros:-Looks nice. IMO it doesn't look cheaply made like most of the sound bars in it's price range.-Features all work as advertised. I had no problems connecting to bluetooth, usb, and auxilary audio.Neutral:-Sound is pretty much what you expect from a cheap sound bar. Not great, but if you want something great you'll have to pay more. The "surround" sound mode just makes the volume slightly louder.Cons:-Remote is cheap and poorly made. Honestly, if it wasn't for this I would give the sound bar 4 stars easily.-Headphone jack is extremely noisy and poor quality. If this is a feature you will plan on using often look elsewhere.-The bluetooth connection beep is way too loud compared to the volume of the audio. It feels about three times louder than the volume of my tv which is extremely jarring when I'm half asleep and turn it on.

The media could not be loaded.  I had purchased a TRANSPEED Bluetooth 30W Stereo Bookshelf Speakers with Subwoofer in the past and I had always been happy with the build quality and exceptional customer service they provide. This product is no exception. This speaker gets plenty loud for my bedroom. It has crisp, clear sound reproduction and the surround really makes a difference. The sound is not too boomy which both my wife and I appreciate. When pairing the sound via Bluetooth we find that the sound quality is better than the RCA / Analog inputs. Since my TV has an optical out, I feel this product would benefit from an optical input to give the output higher fidelity sound with wider dynamic range. This Sound Bar would also benefit if it had speaker grills or wire mesh covers to keep extraneous objects from puncturing the drivers. Since we don't have children or pets this is not an issue in our home.All in all, this is a good value in its price range. It is nice to look at as well as to listen to.

the sound bar is what you would expect for this price range. The bass is limited and not impressed with the overall volume. The remote took awhile for it to function consistently but have not had any trouble in the past couple weeks. (the sound bar would not respond to commands. I had to take the battery out and try again. Sometimes I would shake it and it would respond.) The remote is cheaply made and I think the weakest part of this product. I am using the sound bar but now feel I should have spent a few more bucks.

I really enjoyed this sound bar - it had great, full sound, especially for the price. However, after less than 2 months of use, it suddenly stopped working. It wasn't dropped, wasn't damaged, no water got on it...it stayed in exactly the same spot every day, but one day it just wouldn't power on anymore. I liked it a lot and it performed well until last week.

Works great and sound is good. This gives good high range sound and ok mid. There is zero bass. Definitely needs a sub for full on surround. Remote doesn’t work very well. Good gift or for kids room. If you can afford better buy better. Also if you line it in with a tv like I did you have to control the sound separately and it doesn’t cancel the tv sound.
