Bin store
Used these for a bin store I made and they work a treat.

Amazing value
They look and feel like a quality product. I have used them to hold the doors of my summer house open as in the wind they tend to bang quite a lot. It was a bit tricky to get the dimensions correct for the screwed-in fittings, but I got them mostly correct to my satisfaction. Only four stars as getting the spring clamp back into the end of the strut is very difficult, so try not to release with a screwdrive.

Gas Strut Review
Excellent product, easy to fit just follow the dimensions in the diagram. I fitted mine to the bin shed covers. Keep the lid open while you dispose of the rubbish. Lids are heavy so I purchased the 200N version.

Don't work
Literally impossible to compress the things, 200n rating is one thing but to not be able to compress them whatsoever renders them completely useless and a huge waste of money. I bought for a camoer conversion and by the time i came round to fitting them the return window was gone so now they just have to go in the bin.
