Not too bad!
Expected greasy. No grease in it! Great for a sandwitch, or just dip a cracker in. With the rarety of finding CANNED MEAT anywhere this is a good find. The cans, however will not store for a great deal of time - due to the Pop Top it has. Tasty? Well...not too bad, but salty. No beef in it - Chicken and pork. Makes 4 sandwitches per can. And if you ever tried canned Deviled Ham - Its like that. But no Ham.

saltier than I remember and expensive
In the 1970s potted meat, Spam and Vienna Sausages were considered a poor man's food. Now they are all expensive. I love potted meat, but this was a lot saltier than I remembered it being. I could not believe how expensive this has become. Compared to all, I will probably stick with Vienna Sausages as they are still cheaper. They are securely shrink wrapped and easy to open. There is not a lot in each can but that is pretty much the way they have always been.

Reminded of when I was a kid
I know most people say gross to potted meat but when you don't have much money this is great. Mix it with some mayo and little onions and it makes a good sandwich

potted meat, baby. It is what it is: calories, fat, sodium, protein. Snack or Survival
Well, it is what it is. Potted Meat. Come on people, it serves a purpose. Adds fat, protein, sodium, and calories if looking to add to your "extended pantry", all without taking up much space or weight. It's flavor, its a food option. You do you. If you are here to buy "potted meat" then know that it tastes pretty much as expected. Smooth pate texture (more loose if room temp, firmed up if fridge temp). It tastes just fine on plain crackers. Actually I kinda think it hits the spot. It is a daily food item? no. Occasional snack or emergency (or hiking) food? yes. Definitely, absolutely yes. Imma gonna stock up.I think the small can is the perfect portion size for a half a tube of ritz crackers. I am not entirely sure what else to use it on. It can probably be doctored up with some spices. Dip celery sticks in it. Maybe as a side for eggs and toast. If you can afford eggs, and there is still bread available. *gestures vaguely toward the near future*Covenient pull top tab.Ingredients: Mechanically Separated Chicken, Partially Defatted Pork Fatty Tissue (Tocopherol, Natural Flavor and Citric Acid), Water, Salt, contains 2% or less of: Mustard, Vinegar, Dextrose, Sodium Erythorbate, Garlic Powder, Natural Flavors, Sodium Nitrite.

Tastes great like Pate- it's really good
Serve in a fancy dish with fancy crackers, cucumber slices, and veg sticks, and your friends will think it is French Pork/liver pate.Nice napkins, White tablecloth, crystal wine glassesUse a funnel and pour a 5-litre jug or box of Carlo Rossi Pinot Noir or Chianti into a fancy basket-weave wine jug.I'm serious, watch how pretentious they all are. :-)Film it all and put it on Youtube. This a good storable source of protein and calories in case of the impending Apocalypse and it tastes pretty good on a Ritz or Triscuit with a cucumber.

Hurricane food. It's also half the price of the small 3 oz can 12 cents oz vs 24 cents and oz
I might eat 1 can a year of this but if hurricane hits and lose electric we can survive.

Refrigerate
It was too soft when received. But once cooled down it was great. It’s close to the maple leaf potted meat that I use to have. Refrigerate after opening and maybe a hour before use for better consistency
