It is fast and convenient. I bought this because of my tennis albow ie. lifting an iron is painful. However, after steaming I found the clothes a little damp and have to leave it dry before I can put it away.I dont know how long this product will last as the water in my area is hard water, and to buy distilled water is not cheap and they dont even sell distilled water in the supermarket.

It does work and do a good job, but you MUST read the instructions carefully and follow them to the letter because if you don't the steam is very intermittent. I have just done four pairs of curtains that were creased from the package they came in and now they are perfect with very little effort. My daughter's wedding dress had so many flounces that it could never be ironed, and the steamer was ideal to get rid of the hundreds of creases from when it was in the post.

I did lots of research before deciding to buy a Fridja steamer. it arrived promptly but was a total disaster. It was easy to set up, steamed for literally 10 seconds and stopped working. The base kept filling with water and the spring at the bottom of the water tank was clearly leaking. I had to take it all apart and struggled to get it back in the box. I have emailed Fridja to ask how to get a refund. What a hassle. I may buy another but not this make and not online as having to box things up for posting is a real pain. I have learnt a lesson.
