Works pretty well
I like it. Solid way to practice in the interim between range days. Laser cartridge seems to be well built. Have run many drills in a few different firearms and no issues so far. Laser is bright and app picks up hits well. App functions nicely, no errors as of yet. You can use your own targets aswell and the app picks them up in the same quality as the provided “smart target”. Phone holder is solid, I’ve actually used it for other video stuff. Overall I’m happy with it for the money.

Love this system
This was recommended by a friend because range time and ammo are expensive. I am so glad I bought this. I have already fired over 1200 shots and am still on the first snap cap, so it is a great value for the money. Kudos to the manufacturer for making the snap caps so you can turn one over and use the other side (which I haven't needed to do yet because they are so durable). This is a great way to diagnose problems with technique. I like that you can use your own targets

Works Perfect. Totally worth the $$$
Bought this and it instantly improved my dry fire training. I got one of the targets to go with it but you can use your own. I also did have a phone mount already so that made it easier to set up as well. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money on dry fire trainer and I’m glad I didn’t because this is worth every penny!

Can't go wrong - great for "no projectile" training - trigger control - grip etc
This is my second Quantum XG Dry Fire cartridge. I have one in 45ACP and decided to add the 9mm to my dry fire arsenal. They work well, fit and finish is good, extra components included is nice so you don't have to purchase replacements right away. The targets can be found free for download on manuf. website and app for device is free (I use android and the free app is in the Play Store). You'll need some type of tripod to get your device to view the target and adjustment within the app to see the target is easy.I've only used the training part of the app and it does help - solved the dreaded "low-right" problem with my 45 as well as 9 and for that alone this dry fire trainer is well worth the cost of admission.Removing the dry fire cartridge is easy - I use the eraser end of a pencil as not to damage the weapon or dry fire cartridge.Highly recommend.

An invaluable training device! Plus, a suggestion!
This little device is an invaluable tool for training and practice. It's also a bargain at the price! I have a competitor's offering at twice the price and it's not any better; it's giving me problems, in fact, which I still have to sort out. That's what led me to the G-sigh laser. This little thing is durable and 100% reliable. I'm really glad I found it!I'm a huge believer in dry fire practice -- think of it as the firearms equivalent of an automated batting tee or a golf driving range. If you can draw, present and dry fire your weapon and keep the dot on your target over and over again -- "Ten thousand times, sensei!" -- you'll keep up your skills between visits to the range. It's not just for marksmanship, but for practicing and sharpening your gunfighting skills; you can move, communicate and "shoot" inside your home without your wife fussing at you for punching holes in the drywall.Regarding "accuracy" with these little devices, keep in mind that they are not for zeroing your weapon -- they are a training assist tool. The O-rings are flexible and designed for easy insertion and extraction, so the "zero" may not be perfect. You can make some adjustment by rotating the device in your chamber. Mine is pretty much on target at 10 feet, so I mark it off as "good enough" and focus on practice/training.I've probably "fired" my laser training device about a thousand times since getting it and have no complaints at all. The battery life is unknown at this point, but I've bought spares so I'm ready when the time comes. There's an app to help with your scoring, but I've not got into that just yet. I appreciate the concept, though.SUGGESTION: I wish they'd make these out of bright orange or lime green polymer so you can distinguish them from live rounds. Being brass they look like real rounds and a casual chamber check it's easy to mistaken one of these for a live cartridge; even worse, you might think a real cartridge is your laser. And that would be bad.Safety is paramount, of course. I always physically press the button/"primer" before beginning dry fire practice to make sure it's a laser in my chamber and not a real round. Also, I have a dedicated training magazine with the follower and spring removed and the baseplate is bright red; this is to distinguish it from my other mags and keep me from accidentally loading a live round in the chamber while dry firing. Which would be unlikely as the laser is already in the chamber, but you know, double safety redundancy, better to be safe than sorry, etc. Finally, this things are small, so it's easy to lose them. You might want to keep the original box handy so you can keep track of your expensive little laser toy. You don't want to mix it up with your old brass or, even worse, live rounds; get one of these in the chamber during a real life encounter and you're in bad trouble.Overall, I highly recommend the G-Sight device and would not hesitate to purchase another.

Fun, practical, and helpful
Got this item to practice trigger pulls and target acquisition works greats, also helpful for sighting in optics. Definite improvement when going to the range after use.Would also recommend getting some of G sights interactive targets.

Works well for dry fire practice
Works well. The target illumination is easy to see. I like the spare batteries and parts that come with it.
