Excellent phones and comes with Blocking features - No more Robot calls!!!!!!

This is a good set of phones. Coverage is good throughout our house.

We switched service providers. Our mix-match of manufacturers of home phones would not adapt to the new service, so we needed a matched set. That was resolved. We like avoiding scammers, so we went with this system, yet we have not had an opportunity to program it yet. Consequently, until that happens all calls are screened. So, if you buy this set be aware of this. It's fine, just a slight inconvenience for family and friends for the moment. Otherwise, it appears like it will certainly satisfy us in all other categories.

The first unit received had charging problems with 3 of the 5 phones. This was exchanged for a replacement system. This time ALL 5 phones would not charge properly. After 24 hours of charging the phones show only 1 bar for battery charge and rapidly go dead. I suspect these batteries are either outdated or (most likely) defective. Returning system for refund and purchasing a different brand. Fortunately Amazon is easy to work with as far as returns are concerned!

Finally, a tool that actually Works! In the first month after setting up the system it has silently blocked 48 (all) inbound unknown unwanted calls in the background. My original attack plan was to use one of those small call blocker units that has a list of "known" spam numbers. I've been thru three units over the years, first with 5,000 numbers, then 10,000, and finally 100,000 numbers it would block. Calls continued because I learned this is a futile strategy since scammers/spammers just change their numbers by the minute it seems. The Smart Call Blocker technology works in several ways. 1) You build a whitelist of the numbers you want to let thru, 2) Once activated, the Smart Call Blocker will pickup in the background and challenge the caller to speak their name and then press the # sign which then passes them thru for you to accept or deny. There are other options to pass them to just leave a message if you want. Robocall technology can't handle this response so they just get disconnected. I have used my cell phone to test all the scenarios and they work as advertised, and no bothersome calls! Good phones and voice messaging system too.

The sound is good and clear, size is comfortable to hold. There are so many features that I could not figure out how to use them all. (Senior moments ) lol.
