I love this product. Extremely well made and will last a lifetime. I don't get anything and there's no incentive for me to leave such a review other than it's the right thing to tell other people searching for a product your experience so you'll know what's good what's junk. This is very high grade and tough product and I literally use it everyday. I use it connected to my belt sometimes my backpack sometimes mounted in my truck I even have them mounted near my lounge chair in the living room and I use them to help me keep track of and organize things like lighters or silverware or anything. Very very strong magnet. I even use one on my belt loop to hold my chalk that I use when I'm playing pool. All the ones you can buy that are supposedly designed and made for pool players are very insufficient. If you use this thing it blows anything to competition has away and it wasn't even designed with the thought in mind to use it to hold chalk for pool lol. It can easily hold a heavy hammer. I've even used them at times to mount a full size handgun. And it can hold it easily. Very strong magnet good stuff.

Ordered this as a temporary replacement magnet for the vagus nerve stimulator implant. (VNS) Does that job perfectly, & the belt clip for this magnet is far more secure than the one that comes with the VNS implant so I don't have to worry about losing this one by having it slip off from bumping into things. Just wish this magnet was a little smaller & a little more powerful magnet like the one that comes with the VNS implant.As far as a tool holder goes it's great for holding nails, nuts, & bolts & smaller sockets while you're working on stuff. Not strong enough to really hold any sizable tool though. But it does have its uses.

These are not bad. As far as holding something like a hammer, they're okay. Holding my tape measure, not so good. On the other hand holding my Glock 43, pretty good actually. Anything light it has no problem with. Like the fact that I can clip it onto my backpack or my belt it doesn't matter. If you're debating whether you should get some these are some of the stronger ones that I've seen so I would get these.

Because the magnets were around, rather than more in the middle, my chalk kept wanting to move to the side of the clip. So much so, I took it apart, and re-positioned the magnets. Not really worth the hassle.

I bought these for my husband as a gift . The magnets are very strong . I am pretty sure he will like these to hold his tools while he’s working. I think they will be good to hold nails and screws too

The title says it all. I have pocket knives with sturdier clips than this. If you put a heavy tool on it (in my case a hatchet), and you bend more than halfway over at the waist, odds are good it will fall. This item only performs half of its two functions well because magnets just do what they do.The rubber padding is loosening after a few uses. This appears to be caused by the friction introduced if you move the attached item along the surface rather than pull it away, which, if this was a quality product, it should have been designed to withstand.

I use this as a belt clip for my phone. I have a magnetic pad attached to my phone case that I use with my car mount and this clip allows me to carry my phone on my hip bc I hate traditional belt clips bc they are not durable. Magnetic is the way to go.
