There was only one instruction card instead of the 5 shown for how to make the 5 designs. That is a major issue for a beginner. The cards are heavy, like cardboard so not very nice (I won't be using them) and there are no envelopes.

The set is nice and clear, but I expect each card to have the design shown, so it'll be easier to work with quilling paper to assemble such a design. Instead, I've got a bunch of blank cards with supplies. It's also a great deal, but not what I thought.

I don't recall where I first saw quilled art when I was a kid, but I always wanted to try it. Now that I'm nearly 60, I will finally get my chance. There are a ton of pieces in this kit, so it'll provide me lots of chances to learn (and probably mess up a few strips of paper along the way). I'm pretty sure I'll have to refer to YouTube videos for instructions as the ones included are pretty sparse. But at least now I have the supplies so there's no excuse not to try it out. If there are issues with anything later, I'll update, but I don't foresee that there will be any problems.

I plan on giving some of the earrings to my nieces.
