Just the cable I needed
Needed this cable to update my laptop and the laptop did not have an Ethernet port and I could not connect to the WiFi until the update was complete.

Needed to connect an ethernet cable to my laptop, which only has a USB port. This works well.

Works but drives came on a CD. Not able to find drivers to download on Amazon where indicated
I brought this item as my slimline laptop did not have a Ethernet port (or cd/dvd). The drives came on a CD.I tried to find the drivers where stated on the leaflet included with item but without any luck. I did find the manual and it would have useful to include the link here. I simply plugged it in and it worked! I'm unsure as to if it is working to it optimum.If I encounter issues I am going to try transfer the drivers onto a usb to try and install via this.Overall a very good price and works.The drive issue was why I gave it 4stars instead of 5

Just what’s needed for the Nintendo Switch. Or would be at 1/2” longer.
Works great with the Nintendo Switch. Plugs in to give a better speed and more reliable connection that WiFi.However, it’s a bit fiddly to get into place, if it were half an inch longer it would be much easier. Not a fault of the adapter, but of the silly Switch cradle.Note you won’t get full speeds with the Switch either because Nintendo throttle the speed. I’m getting 275Mb on every other device on the network, but 60Mb wireless or 122Mb wired through this adapter.Worth it for the low price though!

I was going potty with my laptop disconnecting from wifi so I got this adapter, plugged it into a USB socket and connected to router with an Ethernet lead. Bam! Brilliant connection and super speed. Happy as Larry.
