I really love this series, I can relate to Tomoko and how she feels growing up and going through High School. Her interesting style of humor really makes me laugh along with her wide variety of facial expressions. I love the artists style of this manga and how Tomoko doesn't look or act like your average manga girl character. Her outcomes through this manga are more relatible and understanding than most other mangas.I would recomend this book to anyone looking for an easy going story and plot on daily living. It's a lot like the stye of my other favorite anime/manga "Lucky Star".

Coming from a girl with social anxiety disorder. Watamote hits dangerously close to home, and it's scary how much I can identify with Tomoko. It's hilarious, it's painful to read, its impossible to put down. If you have any idea what you're in for and are even slightly interested, pick this up. You'll be surprised just how good this is. It also stands up very well against volumes 1 and 2. In my opinion, it's the best yet!

I don't really relate or identify with Tomoko at all, yet, her constant struggles to be more social kinda hit the feels, the manga and anime are pretty bleak at first, but once you see how things roll, you'll be cheering for Tomoko to succeed.This volume lives up to what I expected.Anxiously waiting for the rest.

Hilarious new installment. The story picks up where it left off in the last volume. The mc is still trying to better herself while enjoying highschool. Unlike the last volume, all the other characters are fleshed out enough that I didn't have to reread the previous volume. Also this is a fast and fun

As someone who was like that in school (but not quite as bad), I can really sympathize with Tomoko Kuroki and her desire to be more outgoing and popular. I recently subscribed to AnimeNetwork and was happy to find both a subtitled and dubbed version of the anime. It does not replace the books, but it does supplement them nicely.

This manga reminds me a lot of Princess JellyfishIt's SO GOOD, 10 out of 10.

just watch the anime instead, it covers almost all of volume 1-3.

It's extremely fun, I laugh at most one time each two pages being realistic. Sometimes I felt bad about tomoko but I just can not laugh. The humor is great, the only thing I have to complain it's the drama and character development is to slow or not existant at all, this series is more about the moment than others series that focuses to a big events. Personally I don't categorized it as a bad attribute in it's own style is fabulous and super fun. Even without a cliffhanger I can't wait to read the other.

It's more than just the comedy the anime makes it out to be. Definitely worth a look
