Works great on Unifi
Took the leap to see if these would work with UniFi gear, and can confirm it works perfectly fine and as intended on Ubiquiti UniFi gear. Currently running both on a USW Aggregation switch, no heat issues from the adapters. Only thing you are unable to view via the UniFi OS console (which is not critical) is the voltage, temp, etc when you click on the port info within the switch. Not an issue at all. Really enjoy having inexpensive sfp to rj45 modules. Will Be buying a bunch more

works great on intel and zyxtel nic/switch
used these for my home server. the retention tab for rj45 broke off of one. didnt take much to do it either. aside from that they work great.

Plug and play
Just invested in Ubiquity's Dream Machine Pro. I have a fiber incoming on primary WAN and I have a Comcast line as backup on WAN2. The WAN2 on the UDM Pro worked great with this SFP+ converter to plug in the RJ45 coming from the cable modem. Plugged it in and worked without issue.I know very little about SFP+ so was a bit hesitant, and this particular one was the cheapest I could find so was a little nervous. But, it's plug & play as it's supposed to be! No issues, so definitely best value for the money...I've included a picture for anyone interested to see its dimensions compared to the UDM Pro.

Good quality and value for money!
I bought a couple of these transceivers for use with my Mikrotik CSS326 switches. The switches have been updated to the latest firmware v2.12 at time of writing and they correctly recognize the transceiver as Flypro SFP-10GT-MT-30M Rev A0. They are warm to the touch when operating under normal load which is as expected since 10GBase-T transceivers do tend to run warm, especially under load. Linked up at 10Gbps with my QNAP QSW-408 switch without any fuss using Cat 7 copper over ~15m-20m. They also connected at 10Gbps with Cat 6 patch cables. I plan to buy more as I need them. Would definitely recommend as an alternative to the Mikrotik branded transceivers.

Cheap but not ideal on 2.5 or 5 GbE devices
I've tested a variety of these transceivers across a variety of devices. And they get quite hot, but have been reliable. They work great on 10G and 1G connections, but I've encountered many issues with 2.5G and 5G devices. If connected at those speeds, everything negotiates correctly, and I get 2.3-2.4 Gbps from faster 10G devices _to_ the 2.5/5G device, but in the other direction (2.5/5G -> 10G), LOTS of packets are dropped for some reason, leading to speeds from 200-400 Mbps!It leads to a greatly diminished experience that can be hard to debug if you don't know what you're looking for.So for 10G and 1G devices, these transceivers offer a decent value. If you use 2.5 or 5G devices, look elsewhere!

Works like a charm!
I'm a system administrator but I'm also a techie at heart, and I've been debating on upgrading my home lab to 10Gb but didn't want to break the bank. My switch already had 4 x 10Gb SFP+ ports and I found a couple of old SFP+ NICs online. I had already ran Cat6 cable in my home office/lab and didn't want to have to bother running fiber just to get 10Gb networking to my servers. So I went searching around on Amazon for a good copper to SFP+ module and came across these. I was skeptical given it didn't have many reviews yet, but the ones it did have were all positive. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did because I've now got 10Gb and didn't have to spend a lot of extra money to upgrade the home lab. I plugged everything in and it worked like a charm!Hardware involved:- Aruba S3500 Switch- SolarFlare SFN5322F SFP+ NIC- 2 x FLYPROFiber 10G SFP+ to RJ45 Copper Modules

Works with Mikro Tik
Plug and play. It works with my Mikro Tik CRS305. It does also convert to 1gig as well without problems. It does run a little hot, but most of my modules I have seem to get hot after an hour of use.

Sometimes cheap just means cheap!!!
We ordered two of these to use on our new switches. While the concept is great the execution fails miserably.Aside from the fact that the units don't work as advertised, the heat generated is ridiculous. Removal SHOULD be a simple process, but unfortunately, the units seem to be so cheaply made that only one of them was successfully removed from the switch it was inserted into. The other unit refuses to come out, rendering the 10GBe uplink port on our new managed switch unuseable. I sent the one unit back asking for a refund, which was issued. However, the remaining unit, which can't be removed, was charged to our account. We received an email from the company detailing how to remove the unit, but it is incorrect. They still charged us for the defective unit, while our new switch's uplink port is now inoperative. They should be purchasing US a new switch.I'll avoid this company in the future, while I waste my valuable time trying to obtain a refund.
