This is a nice little hoop with a good, sturdy closing mechanism. I think it's a bit dear for what it is, but if you're gonna keep it in long term, it's worth it. It's hypoallergenic and once it's in you can forget about it, so it's worth it in the long run.

I got to know this brand after having my nipple piercings infected due to my old jewelry. The infection disappeared in 2 or 3 days! So I bought rings for my lips and nose and love them. Great quality, easy to clip closed and real titanium

I dont always wear my lip ring as I often have to take it out for work but I've had this since 2007 so the hole never closes up. As a result, I take my lip piercing in and out all of the time so I probably go through more than most people and I'm probably more experienced at putting them in and taking them out than most people (execpt people that do it for a living, or course). Whenever I purchase piercings I nearly always buy ball closures or horseshoes that have a screw thread closure. They tend to be dirt cheap to buy for a pack and have always been my go to when it comes to piercings. The problem with these are that they can often be very fiddly and if you drop the ball as you are trying to attach it, you normally have to try your best to listen out for where it bounced and then spend the next 5-10 minutes trying to find it again (heaven forbid you should drop it on a high shag carpet) just to end up giving up and taking a new one out of the pack.I've never actually tried a ring closure before now and they've always kind of baffled me as to how they work to be honest. However, since getting this, I understand it now. These piercings are so, so, so much easier to put in. There's no concern about dropping and losing any parts as it is all just one built-in mechanism whereby the slightly smaller gate part of the ring just fits into the slightly larger part of the actual ring. Piece of cake. I realise for most people this is likely obvious and I don't know why I haven't used these before now myself.The only down side to this piercing is that they look identical to the more common design of fake piercings, so if you are wanting everybody to know it is the real deal then they can be easily construed as fake. If this doesn't bother you then all is good.Compared to what I normally pay online, this piercing is significantly more expensive but they do seem decent. It is Titanium and therefore should last a significant period of time if you are the kind of person who keeps them in all the time, which, let's face it, is everyone (I'm the anomaly in the scenario, aren't I?).You only get one in a pack so if you are buying them for earrings or any other body parts where you want to keep symmetry then you will need to get two which really ramps up the price considering what you can pay for piercings elsewhere.
