Comfortable fit, great vision, reliable mask !

I say that but I am close. I have about 5 different models of this style and this one is better than all but 2 of them made by 3m.Highlights of this one are adjustability, this is always big because it doesn’t matter how effective the mask is if you can’t get it to fit properly. It is also comfortable which is a cousin of adjustability.I’ve used it thus far sanding a car down to bare metal as well as painting that same vehicle. My face shape is average / a little wider, and this mask fits me really well. The seal material itself is quite soft and conforming. It has a reliable bond to the clear plastic housing, with an additional black plastic rim clamping down the whole structure all around the circumference. You can see the clamp in the video blowout. I like this extra reassurance. No complaints about the clarity or distortions in the clear portion of the structure (I will call it the face shield). The face shield has a nice design and is structurally durable, with no flex. It reminds me of a good pair of safety googles that I have. I do not have a cartridge to test this mask yet, so I can't report on the real-world use.StrapsThe rubber has about 1/2 inch stretch to it (if you just take a section and try to pull it apart). It is something like 1.5-2mm thick, so I would expect this to last. The plastic hooks themselves are a few mm thick, as well. Fits well, Comfortable, Straps Hold up over time, Made in Italy, Scratches Very Easily you will prob trash the first one realizing the ease of scratching. Must wash with like drops of detergent in cup using Fingers Lightly.. Other than that it's been a lifesaver, BTW the Mira Filter is super overrated better off getting 15$ carbon #3 filters, I think.

One of the most important things to me when using a respirator is to have a consistently solid seal. I'm bald so I don't have any hair to get in the way, but some days I may not shave and even with stubble, I'm getting a solid seal. I have great vision, and the visor doesn't fog up neither. Used to resurface a bathtub and remove a dead skunk. The instructions list that you can disassemble for a thorough cleaning. But it doesn't provide details, and I haven't bothered to do it yet to see how it functions after reassembly. I'll update this review should I run into any problems. Other than that, fits well, has a solid seal, comfortable, and no problems whatsoever at the moment.

Not sure how effective it is as far as HAZMAT goes, but it's surprisingly comfortable and easy to get on and adjust.

This gas mask is very good quality as most of MIRA's products are. It fits my average-sized adult face well and may be able to be adjusted to fit children as well (don't quote me on that though). This mask is a fraction of the cost of some other masks but uses the same NATO standard cartridges, also available from MIRA and other manufacturers. In these unsure times, I think it's important for everyone to be prepared for every kind of emergency. I think these are good quality at a price the average person can afford and recommend this product. I will be getting more of these for my family.
