Does not dissolve in liquid
I don’t know how to take this powder since it does not dissolve in water or any other liquid! It has somewhat of a taste, not a pleasant one. If it were in a capsule it would be better. As it is I don’t know to consume this product.

Good so far
This seems to be a good quality Leucine powder so far.- Powder mixes well- No odd aftertaste or ill effects- Price/Value is very good- Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven't seen the COA yet)I wish it wasn't vegan - I figured I'd try it though. I haven't had any problem taking this, but I'm only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I'll revise my review accordingly.

Sweaty lemon. Poor mixing.
The "strange smell" I can only describe as sweaty lemons. The flavor is a mild bitter taste. Its not pleasant but if mixed in a strong enough flavored drink its not bad.I have been unable to objectively determine if this stuff is helping any, but the science claims it does. I may just be too skeptical, concerned about placebo effects to really tell. The worst aspect us that it really hates mixing. Its a very fine powder (feels like talcum powder to the touch) and seems like it should dissolve easy, but even with a serious whisking I had white powder floating in my drink and stuck to the walls of my cup.If looking for a source, this seems pretty decent. Especially if mixing in a smoothie or something with a blender. Certainly wouldnt recommend if you are going to dump in a shaker bottle with water as it doesnt smell or taste naturally good in any way. (but isnt prohibitively bad)

Vegan BCAA non-gmo
I have been in the search for BCAA that are from a natural source instead of the widely available chemical source. This product ✔ all the requirements I wanted except one. 1. Non-Gmo ✔ 2. Vegan source ✔ 3. 3rd party tested ✔ 4. Fermented always good ✔. The only thing that could be improved is that this product is difficult to dissolve in liquids. My recommendation is to blend well in your choice of liquid in a blender then mix with either your liquid or in a smoothie. Make sure you wash your container after because if you do let it sit in the container for too long it will smell. The bottle that I originally mixed it in I can't get the Fermented smell out of it. Other than that I'm impressed with this product and will continue to use to help with muscle recovery and performance.

L Leucine BCAA powder
This is a jar of 60 servings of L Leucine BCAA powder. My wife is very into fitness and exercises daily so she is excited to add this to her daily intake. I will do an updated review if she notices muscle growth or increased energy or any other benefits from it as she takes it the next two months. It is jut too soon to give any yet as she has only been taking for about a week. No digestive issues and she mixes it in her protein shake and says you cannot taste it at all. You cant beat the price!! Great price for a two month supply.

Seems like a good product
I started adding this to my morning protein shakes a couple of weeks ago. I've noticed only one difference so far: my muscles seem to recover faster and better from exercise. It's tasteless, which I like. It has a slight odor to it, but I don't find it off-putting. The only thing that I don't like about this powder is it does not dissolve very easily. It doesn't seem to matter how furiously or how long I shake, I end up with small pockets of white powder throughout my shake. That said, for getting additional L-Leucine into my diet than what comes in the protein powder alone, this is an easy solution.

Impressive product per excellent seller / maker feedback
To me, it’s always a good idea to find out as much as possible about products before using them, especially consumables. When corresponding with makers or sellers, past responses have ranged from no response to exceptional and educational. Following is the impressive response I received from HTN (Health through Nutrition) Customer Care Team via the seller Epic for Health to my questions “1. Where do the ingredients come from (country)? 2. Where (which country) is this made? 3. Who (which company) manufactures this product? And 4. Is the facility certified (by ISO, etc.)?”:“L-Leucine itself is made in China. Most of the amino acids are made in China. The reason we selected this particular manufacturer is because yes, they are ISO certified (ISO14001, ISO18001, ISO19001, and ISO22000), but just as importantly they manufacture L-Leucine by process of fermentation from simple glucose. Usually, Leucine is sourced from avian feathers, or heavy chemical processing. This material is non-GMO, ultra clean made by fermentation. For that reason, we are the first company to the best of our knowledge to obtain the Vegan Certification for L-Leucine by The Vegan Society. We manufactured the finished product in the USA. Salisbury, MD to be exact in the cGMP Certified Facilities by UL/NPA and NSF. In fact, our manufacturing partner Tishcon Corp is GRMA Certified by NSF which is the highest standard of GMP certification and also FDA registered, as are we.Testing is conducted on all incoming ingredients including L-Leucine, no lot skipping; upon receipt for Identification, Purity / Potency, and also test for micro contaminants such E.coli, salmonella, mold etc., along with heavy metals for safety. We also test batches in process to ensure uniformity prior to encapsulation, then we test once more when product is made to ensure, minimum of 100% label claim potency, disintegration/rupture as per USP, but most importantly again for contaminants to ensure no contamination occurring during the manufacturing process to ensure consumers’ safety as that is our ethos "safety first”. We also test the potency once more at 3rd party analytical lab such as Eurofins, or Micro Quality Labs as a part of our 4-stage testing. This goes for all of our products. In addition, we use adequate overages on all products to ensure above 100% label claim at the time of expiration. We verify this by conducting actual shelf-life stability testing, that includes label claim potency, but also once more for safety, to ensure no bacterial contamination, and that products rapture as well. Once again, safety first and something we do not skip on.We hope that answers all of your questions and please do not hesitate should you need anything else.HTN Customer Care Team”Once I am cleared by me medical professional, I feel confident in using this product. At $0.325 USD per serving ($19.49 USD for a 60-serving container at the time this review was written), to me this is a very affordable price for an apparently high-quality product made right with admirable quality standards.
