This couch is exactly what i hoped it would be. It's crisp black as shown, its just my camera giving it the greyish look, very sturdy, and pretty comfortable. I love its seat cushion looks like two seats but is one piece and the velvet makes it oh so soft. You don't sink when you sit on it, or feel any wood anywhere. I don't think this is a couch you should get off it's gonna be in a common area with bouncy kids because it may not survive long but, with care it will definitely serve its purpose. Its not a sleeper sofa either, but if you had to....Its too elegant for that. Im gonna use it in my sitting room for book reading, or simple company visits but I'm sure this beauty is gonna be good for fun times with the family. Makes my home look modern and fancy. Oh yeah, we had to flip sections around a few times to put it together correctly but it still was like only 15 minutes to assemble, and you only screw on the feet. Honestly, im sure if i ever have to move ill be super happy its able to break down and fit thru ANY door without damaging it. Super light too. Its a win for me, you won't be disappointed!
