Edited after a month of use:We're still happy with this product. The quality is great, and the vest is very durable. However, if your dog has sensitive ears, you might struggle to get it off. For this to have a proper fit, the head-hole ended up being pretty small, and it's too time consuming to adjust the neck straps every time it needs to come off. We still use this frequently, but have opted to alternate it with one that he steps into and clips on his back.Previously:Really pleased with this one after two weeks of use. We had smaller, cheaper, more basic ones before -- our staffie-mix puppy ate right through those when we were looking the other way. This one holds up much better. It's still a little big for him and wiggles forward towards his head whenever he's being stubborn. If the fit is still an issue after a month, I'll update the review.

I bought this for our elderly Irish Setter girl who was having problems with our stairs leading to the bedroom. Going up isn't a problem because we follow her and give her butt a boost if she falters. But going down caused her to lose her footing and tumble down to the bottom. The first morning I used it on her, she was hesitant. But a few encouraging words, and she started down. Slow but steady, and we made it to the bottom with no problems. By the second day, she realized that the harness was her friend, and she wanted to fly down the stairs. I had to adjust my hold so that I could keep her from going as fast as she wanted. Now, she waits patiently, wagging her tail, while I hitch her up. I love the handle and ease of getting her into the harness.

My dog has a 31 in chest and 17 in neck. We bought the XL to fit the chest. It just fits. The neck is loose but we are keeping it. I anticipate that is going to reduce the life of the harness. I really like the handle on the back though as when we have guests it we can easily grab him.Going over the ears is fine for my dog. My dog doesn't mind it though I have seen other's call that out as an issue. I actually like the way this goes on as I have had other harnesses that I had to have the dog step into. That is more work than sliding over his head. Overall I like the harness better than the other ones I have used. I have had it for a week and have jogged every day with my dog and it has worked well.

I bought this for my 90lb pit bull. He’s a big lazy dog, hardly active at all. We like to keep him in a harness so that he’s easy to grab if someone knocks on the door or something. This harness looked and felt high quality out of the package. However, about 3 days later the stitching started falling apart. I was baffled, as he’s not an active dog and couldn’t see how this happened. I looked all over Amazon and couldn’t figure out how to contact the company directly, so I’m leaving this review in hopes that they see it. If they contact me and resolve the issue I will update.

this is the best collar for my lab. shes full grown and the xl fits just right. i love the handle for training purposes and there is still a place to put a leash if i choose that also. its is really well built and heavy duty for the price. once my other lab reaches his full size i will be ordering another one!!! love it!!!

Harness is made well and looks great. Love the reflective trim. Our Boxer can pull out of this one and escape his leash, unfortunately. He’s 10 months and 65lbs. Loves to chase birds! Still looking for something else for walks but he wears it around our yard and it doesn’t rub his underarms.

i bought this to see if it would help my dog from pulling on his leash, my dog loves to dragged me everywhere when he is on his leash, if i ever take him for walks hes usually the one that walks me, I was amazed at how well this worked, i took my dog on a walk and instead of me getting draged everywhere, the vest gave me more control so that i could give him the walk and not be dragged everywhere.

We have a crazy insane beagle who 'finds a way' to do what he wants. That said, he can get out of this harness. It's well made, and I'm sure it would do most dogs well; however, if you have an escape artist, I would be careful. I still would probably buy another one if I needed it. I don't know if anyone makes a harness for 'Reggie', our beagle :-(
