Good controller
I love this, has two programmable buttons which I use primarily for run and duck functions, just makes gaming that little bit better

Ultimate PS5 accessory
Yes it's expensive, but you pay for quality and customisation options this pad provides. Does it make me better at games? Probably not, but it feels solid and is extremely comfortable to endure any long gaming sessions.

Top Quality – My Son Loves It!
Bought the DualSense Edge for my son and he absolutely loves it. He says the customisable buttons, adjustable triggers, and swappable sticks make a real difference – especially for competitive games. It feels premium, solid in the hand, and the build quality is excellent.Since it arrived, he’s returned my original controllers and uses this one as his main – so that probably tells you everything you need to know! The carry case and included accessories are a nice touch too.Definitely pricey, but if you're a serious gamer (or buying for one), it’s well worth it.

Expensive, but worth it for me.
I've been on the fence about this controller since before launch, I wasn't sure it justified its high price for such a low battery life. In the end, I thought, I have plenty money saved and I love video games, so why not.I already have an elite 2 on my PC for years now, so I will be comparing to that and also to the stock controller.FIRST IMPRESSIONS- The controller is heavier than I thought, if you read reviews they will say its just a few grams heavier, or barely noticeable, ignore that, its heavier and its very noticeable, it literally feels like double the weight. I see that as a good thing, feels quality.- The controller looks more premium than the stock and I prefer the style, and it also looks nicer than the elite due to the led light and contrast between black and white.- Back buttons will take time to adapt to if you're not used to it.POSITIVES- The case is really high quality, strong- The cable is very long and I love the cable lock, I was a wireless guy, but since trying playing wired after reading about the battery life, to my surprise, games feel smoother and more responsive, so I will play wired from now on, make sure you go to options and enable USB gameplay, also disable HDCP.- 2 choices of back buttons, I ended with the half dome, the paddles seem too low for me and leads to accidental touches- The whole controller feels stronger than the stock controller, feels quality- The led lights are brighter than the stock controller, even on dim.- The software for the controller is outstanding and well integrated into the PS5- The quick swap of profiles is really well done- I love also that you can change the audio volume and balance so easily, I use the SteelSeries nova pro wireless, it works like a charm, finally as I hated all the hassle before- I like the design of the controller it looks more premium than the stock, don't worry about the glossy part, you never touch that part anyway, and I tried taking out and taking a module out and no fingerprints. Reviews on the YouTube are exaggerated regarding that.- The stock dualsense would rattle when vibrating, not here, this one is solid.-The caps seem grippier than the stock controller, then again I use kontrol freeks anyway.- Reviews kept saying that these thumbsticks are the same as stock, I am here to tell you, they are not, all those reviews online are wrong, these sticks definitely feel smother when moving around, more precise too. As smooth as the elite 2 even tough those have metal rings. Bear in mind there is a little click when moving the stick, its normal.- Trigger distance options are great too, I settled on middle setting in resident evil 2, and long setting for racing games, and will use the shortest setting for Warzone.- Back buttons are magnetic and removable, I hate controllers that you can't take them out.- Back rubber grip is nice- The biggest advantage of this controller to any other controller is the replaceable stick modules, and they are so easy and quick to swap and can save you money in the long run.NEGATIVES- I tested the battery, its 4 hours, compared to my original which was 13 hours on launch day. Huge difference playing on same conditions, bear in mind its going to become 3 hours battery in a year time, so if you only play wireless, just skip this controller and stick to the original, bear in mind both the switch pro and xbox elite 2 are 40 hours batteries, massive difference, 10x the battery on those controllers- There is no wireless charger pad inside the case like the elite 2- Back buttons are difficult to put back in the case, you need to really press them hard in there- Back buttons are not as easy to remove as the elite 2, you need to take them out at an angle, I'd be careful with that as to not damage the connector. Then again I don't intend to remove them.- Back paddles are badly positioned, it needed to be just a bit higher up like the elite, because this way my ring and pinky fingers are too much at the bottom of the controller, so my middle finger will touch it, its uncomfortable, so I switched to the half dome which seems better but not perfect as they are a bit far out. To the point I was about to just forget the back buttons altogether. After a while you get used to it.- One of the reasons I bought this controller was for the 0% deadzone, or at least to reduce deadzones in games, forget about it, 0% deadzone is the same as the stock controller, no change whatsoever, same as the trigger deadzone, 0% and you still have a tiny bit deadzone anyway, its just the same as the stock controller. Deadzones are built into the games.- The back rubber grip is either a positive or negative, you will barely feel it, the elite 2 is definitely more quality with more rubber all around, on the other hand with the elite it gets sticky if I sweat in the summer.- Only 2 back buttons, even tough that's more than enough for me, 4 would be too confusing, I only ever used 2 on the elite to replace L3 R3. But choice is better than no choice so the elite wins again.- Price is high, I feel this would be perfect at 180poundsPRICEIs it worth the price? It depends, for me it is, you have to see if the features are worth it to you. I calculate it like this-stock Controller - 60 pounds-case, cable and lock - 20 pounds-replaceable modules - 40 pounds (assuming you only get drift once for the whole generation)60 - 40 = 20pounds which is the price of a module-Back buttons - 25 pounds-adjustable triggers - 15 pounds-better overall build quality - 20 pounds-swappable thumb stick caps - 10 pounds-software - 20 pounds-bottom buttons for menus - 15 pounds (only because it works with my wireless headset)-Better sticks/precision - 15 pounds-worse battery life - minus 25 poundsTOTAL - 210 pounds is an acceptable price for meCONCLUSIONIn my opinion, I prefer this over the elite 2, despite its faults. I prefer the design, and replaceable stick modules is a massive feature. And the extra features like haptics, adaptive triggers, motion, led light, touch-pad, volume/chat controls. And its amazing integration into the UI.

Great pad expensive but worth it
Brilliant haven't had any problems had it a while really good back button placement. And if there was a stick drift problem can sort it without having to buy a new pad been threw couple this is the best pad iv had. I know its a lot but compared to what you get from competitive prices the price for the pads like scuff are expensive

Extremely disappointing
I've been using the Dualsense edge for over a year now and while it has some good features, it's not worth buying over a normal PS5 controller, here's why:1. The battery life SUCKS. Yes, it's a lot worse than the standard PS5 controller. Even with the adaptive triggers turned off it only lasts 3-4 hours max before the battery dies and that's when playing low intensity games. On high intensity games like COD you'll be lucky to get 2 hours of battery life before needing to charge it. I just keep it plugged in 24/7 now because I'm sick of recharging it constantly.2. The lag is WORSE than the standard PS5 controller. There is a noticeable delay when pressing a button and seeing movement on screen. The lag isn't super noticeable when playing single player games but if you play fast paced online multiplayer games you're definitely gonna notice that it's worse than the standard controller. This is unacceptable considering that the edge is supposed to be the "pro" version and costs 4x more. Even when plugged in directly to the console via USB it still lags. This was the main reason I stopped using the edge controller and went back to the normal one, I was losing way too many games online due to this increased delay and once I switched back to the original controller my performance improved straight away. This product deserves a 1 star rating just for this reason alone.3. It's HEAVY. You will definitely notice how much heavier it is over the standard PS5 controller yet the extra weight doesn't make it feels more premium, it just causes fatigue when gaming for longee periods of time.4. It doesn't feel premium to hold. For a £200 controller you'd expect it to feel nicer to hold than the standard controller but it doesn't, in fact I think it feels worse in a lot of ways. There's rubber on the grips yet it doesn't feel gripper, the rubber feels weird and gets sweaty over time. There's some small bumps on the left and right triggers, presumably to add a bit of grip, but they don't add grip at all, they just feel like braille. Overall I much prefer the feel of the standard PS5 dualsense controller over this dualsense edge.Maybe the controller I recieved was faulty because I can't believe how bad it is for the price. Even if the lag issue was fixed the product is still way overpriced, I would not pay more than £100 for it.
