I bought this for my mother to give to her secret Santa recipient, all she knew was that she liked sloths. I played with Snax for a few minutes when he arrived, and found him to be a little creepy. The slow, deep voice paired with the slow blinking and mouth movements. Apparently everyone at worked declared my mother the 'winner' of the secret santa, though, because her recipient loved it so much that she kept it on her lap all day like it was a child and all of the older ladies in the office thought it was adorable. I think he'd be great gift for children or older people.

put batteries in it and it does not work. Was a christmas present and past the return date. Will see if my husband can fix it. very disappointed. Was not a cheap toy

Product seems to work well, cute, cuddly, well made, uses 3 AAA batteries which don’t forget to include if this is a gift which mine was. For my 93 year old mom. I think she’ll like talking to it and having it repeat back to her, very slowly, sounding like if he is drunk or stoned, what she says. Just something fun, nothing more, nothing less. I think she’ll like it since she doesn’t really need anything. It’s good for some smiles and laughter. Packaging could be nicer, not so thrown together looking. Comes with a cute comic like book.

To funny how my 1-1/2 year old Grand Daughter gets a real good bang from Me. Sloth. The funny part is with my Grand Daughter not being able to anunciate any words yet. When she makes her baby sounds to Mr. Sloth. Me. Sloth repeats her baby sounds with her. Voice.SHE CARRIES MR. SLOTH AROUND OUR HOUSE WHEN SHE COMES TO VIST.TO FUNNY. AND TGE ITHER FUNNY OARTVIS HER 2-1/2 year old brother, even though he has his full size Mr. Sloth at home. He gets very jealous when Raven is carrying Mr. SLOTH AROUND OUR HOUSE. I wanted to like this sloth. I should have looked at the picture and known it was not what I wanted for a 4 and 5 year old. This sloth is not the usual cute and cuddly stuffed animal. He does look exactly like his picture so it was clear what he looked like so no fault to this company! I could have lived with that. The real clincher was his voice. His voice barely rates one star for me. Snax actually sounds like someone who has had way too much to drink!! His speech is sooooo slow. I know, I get it a sloth is slow but I did not see the humor in speech that literally is difficult to understand due to the speed - especially for younger kids. I didn’t catch that feature when reading reviews or in the product description. I returned both Snaxes.
