Organic Rapid Self Tanning Lotion - NKD SKN Pre Shower Gradual Tan Organic Tanning Lotion - Natural and Vegan Self Tan (ADD ML)

I used this to take the edge off my shockingly white legs before I stepped out onto the beach in my shorts. I'd tried fake tans before but they never work. I'm a bloke and have hairy legs...fake tans just don't work for me. Initially I was pleased with this self tanning lotion, just spread it over the area you want to darken, wait 15-20 minutes and shower. No nasty smell and after a couple of days, the edge was taken away from my snow white legs.The problem was that after showering I stepped into shorts so there would be no rubbing off of the 'tan' and I would continue on with my day. (I work from home so I can where shorts all day long). So the day came for my holiday, my legs were an acceptable light tan and ready not to be pointed at by the beach crowd that I was about to join. The big mistake came when I put on trousers for my journey. A 2 hour drive to the airport, 3 hours hanging about at said airport, 4 hour flight, 2 hour coach journey to my destination in a bus with no air-con in 90-95 degree heat and a 20 minute walk to my apartment had made me sweat like a fool. So, no surprise this moisture had transferred to my legs and my trousers acted like emery cloth. You can imagine the result. My legs were back to their milky best. My fault...should have worn shorts.The product does work to some extent, but take care not to be an idiot like me and keep you parts free from the possibility of rubbing against clothes. There isn't a lot of lotion in the tube either. Two legs and 7 applications later and it was gone. It works well with no patches or streaks...as long as you don't cover up on long journeys!

So I was compelled to buy this due to positive reviews. And yes it does work, however here are some things to bare in mind.I was using at first before my morning shower, easy to use for sure! However then I’d put my normal creams on and stuff and then go about my day, rush hour, lunch time gym and second shower etc... I found that not much changed at all. I started to notice a difference when applied at night time, shower as normal with soaps and stuff but not much exfoliating, then just leave over night with no extra creams on tops - that’s when I finally saw a light tan come through.However my BF says I now look orange and as I’m naturally brown (from South America) it’s probably not the best self-tanner for ppl with a darker skin tones. Still if used correctly it definitely does work!

There is not a lot in the bottle, I have used 3 times just on arms, legs and face but showered in between, given a slight glow but not a Tan.It may have worked better if I used this continually perhaps?I have probably 1 more use then that's it. If you wanted to do whole Body I would be surprised if you got more than 2-3 uses.Overall I do like and would buy again if you are looking for a very slight tan/change in colour.Abit sticky when you have to wait 10 minutes before showering- you wont be able to do much.BEST THING IS NO SMELL- NONE AT ALL!!

Absolutely brilliant stuff, I am rubbish with fake tan (cause I’m lazy and generally crap at it!) it either goes streaky, orange or patchy, with this after two applications I’ve got a bronzer glow, a few people have asked if I’ve been on holiday! I wipe off my deodorant from the day (otherwise your armpits will go green!) slap it on, wipe over my knees, elbows and edges of my feet with a dry cloth, wash my hands then leave it on for 15-20 mins, shower it off, pat dry and overnight or during the day a nice bronze colour develops, no streaks, no patches and no ompa lumpa look... genius product, for those that say it does nothing, you mush ensure you don’t have moisturiser on and you remove makeup and deodorant for it to work perfectly - the big difference noticed from the second application so I’m going to do a Third day and then give it a week - only negative is I’ve used nearly a whole tube so only really get 3-4 applications from it - be nice if they did a larger bottle x

This is definitely for fair and pale skin. The colour payoff is subtle which I can see why other reviewers are unhappy with it. But for me, this was amazing. I had such a lovely golden colour that was neither too yellow, too orange or too olive toned. Just enough colour to take the white cast off my super pale legs! Goes on easy (use gloves, not a mitt) and I think I had like one or two tiny streaks that were barely a big deal. Finally found a good gradual tan, yay!

I am a convert to fake tan! I've tried fake tans in the past including st Tropez but because I'm super super pale they have always come out orange tinted and I've always had streaks too so I had given up.This product has converted me! It is pale cream and has no base colour however I just applied it as I would body cream and I have had no streaks! There is a very faint smell of fake tan as the product develops but it's no problem. It is a very light tan which suits me, but if you want a quick or dark tan it may not suit. The best thing is there is no orange!! Even my partner who raised his eyebrows and laughed when it got delivered says it looks nice!It's easy to use and builds up nicely I've used it a few times to build it up and it still looks very natural and there's still no streaks. I will be buying this product again for sure!

This is one of the first tanning products I’ve used. It is really good. Normally I am very very pale. It is definitely gradual, it takes me 3/4 times to make a noticeable difference. The lotion is very moisturising. The packet recommends 10 mins but I normally leave it on for more. It took 4/5 full uses before i bought another.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews! You just need to leave it on longer that the suggested 10 minutes. I was almost going to return it as I couldn’t see a difference and then I thought I’d leave it on way longer. I left it on for 45 minutes and my god it makes such a difference! The tan is so natural and a lovely colour golden brown.Even my boyfriend uses it and he leaves it on for an hour!And I love how soft my skin feels afterwards. And that it’s made with natural ingredients. Definitely give it a go!
