Q: How strong is the fragrance ?

Initially it was pretty strong; I found it a weird combination of good (the actual oil) and bad (the capsule). My sister had to wash the product out of her hair because the scent was so powerful and made her sick to her stomach. If I put it on before going to bed, I don't tend to have a problem with the smell.

Q: Is the smell similar with lavender?

Absolutely not; there's a part that smells really good and the capsule itself that is quite awful IMO. Not sure how to describe the actual capsule itself's scent, but it was enough to make my sister have to wash the product out of her hair.

Q: Is this product made in the USA?

I got the purple one for color treated hair - the bottle says Hong Kong - so no not USA for the one I purchased

Q: I see this is the only hair serum for color treated hair on amazon, Did it do a good job?

I don't know others, but it is quite good hair serum for my grey colored hair, make my hair super softer than before
