Q: Do the insides come out, I'd like to make a crossbody backpack out of this?

Cool idea but no the strap doesn't come off naturally. You can still use the points to make this into a backpack though. It is really a super well built case for the Pro Headset.

Q: Does this fit the charging dock with the Quest Pro?

We're sorry to have to say that the CC2 Carrying Case doesn't fit the standard charging dock (big) where you can place your headset and controllers together on the dock. However, there is a compact version (small) of the charging dock for the Quest Pro that is able to fit inside the inner packet of the carrying case. Thanks for your understanding.
