Not really silent
Far from silent, but works well. Small and suits my needs. I was able to hide it in a cabinet where it cannot be heard.

Stopped working after 1 week
The unit stopped working after 1 week. Before it stopped, it made very loud noise too. I am disappointed! It is good that I can still return it within 30 days. No more ceramic pumps for me. I am going back to the old-fashion noisy pumps at the fish store. They seem to be more reliable.
