YIZER Water Shoes, Men Women Lightweight Breathable Mesh Aqua Shoes for Swim Walking Lake Beach Boating

Love these water shoes! We kayak at a lake with sand, tree roots, muck, etc. and have to haul in the boats about 100', so the "just right" shoe is important. The soles are solid enough that stepping on a rock or pine cone doesn't feel any different than in regular gym shoes. The fine mesh in the sole and in the top prevents almost all sand and definitely all rocks from getting into the shoe. Unlike shoes that are marketed as water shoes, but not really good water shoes, every part of these FLOAT, so under the unlikely event that one slips off in the water, it will pop up to be rescued instead of being lost in the undercurrents(crocs, cheap shoes, etc.). I even received compliments on how nice they look! I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur on one of my feet, so water shoes with zero support are a problem. These aren't the super pricey hiking/water shoes by any stretch of the imagination, but much better support than most I've tried. Definitely a huge fan of these!!

These are a great design, but I wear a womens 7.5m, sometimes even an 8 in hiking or athletic shoes, and when I ordered an 8 as suggested, it was much too wide, especially in the heel. And the ankle was much too loose when cinched to the max. These are water shoes, so they are supposed to fit snugly. The length was OK, but I knew they could never work for swimming. When they say unisex sizing, they really mean mens. So I returned and ordered the 7, thinking they would probably be too small (no 7.5 of course). To my surprise, these are not too bad, even though they are still a little too loose in the ankle and heel. So I'm keeping them and I hope they work, because I can't find anything similar that comes in womens sizes.

I wore these shoes to an event called the Tough Mudder 8/27/2017. I'll give you the pros and consPros: Awesome, worked well through a 5 miles 13 obstacles course. The grip was the the bomb on Everest 2.0(similar to the warped wall on ANW) and the Pyramid Scheme(look it up on youtube for this and all obstacles). The support in the shoe was good and comfortable for the first three miles but then my ankles started to feel the pound. So, if you have feet and ankle problems lite weight use these are great. My only con is, as I said in the beginning I used these on a mud obstacles course so take my con in consideration of its use at the time. The Velcro came loose and I almost lost my shoe in the mud. So, if you use these in manner I did, wrap duct tape around your feet and ankles to keep them on. water and mud shoes. I highly recommend these shoes.

The shoes were very comfortable and I did not feel any asphalt when I walked outside on the road, which is what I wanted - to not feel rocks. However, the upper front has a plastic strip that runs across the tops of your toes, and this bends inwards when you walk. I found this to be rubbing my big toe and knew if I wore them for any period of time, I would end up with a sore on my toe. The area for the toes is kind of compressing; even if you look at the pictures you can see that the edge of the toe area is small and curves up. If they had made more room for the toes and fixed the plastic upper strip (by not having it, or making it firmer so it doesn't bend into your toes when you walk), then these would have been perfect.

I bought these shoes for kayaking and have really been happy with them. I have a very narrow foot and even cinched up tight they are still a bit wide but it's really hard for me to find any of this type of shoes to fit. At least the strap on the top and the heel help. I gave them four stars only because it took longer for them to dry than I had hoped. I used them last night and left them outside to dry and they were still wetter than I had expected this morning. But they are great for kayaking and walkng on the rocks getting in to the boat at the lake. I wear a women's 9 1/2 and that's what I ordered. The length was good so I think their sizing is about right. They are also a lot more comfortable than other water shoes as the sole has a lot of cushion. I'm not sure how they are going to do for water volleyball but will find out next week.

We live on the lake & needed shoes that would keep the mud & rocks from getting in our shoes since we are constantly in the water. After reading g reviews I knew the shoes ran a little large so I ordered a half size smaller than my normal 10 shoes size & they fit perfectly. I am extremely pleased with these shoes as they do not allow the mud & rocks into the shoe & the soles of the shoes allow for walking on rocks & such without affecting your feet! I ordered my best friend a pair & we are both ordering more. She had to go a whole size smaller since the smaller size was not available in half sizes. I stead of 7 we got her a 6 & they fit her perfectly!

Really glad I bought this! Much better quality than expected. A world of difference between those old times cheepo foam slip on versions. I can confidently jog in the water (pool) without wondering if my effort or duration will make my shoes fall off. I felt very secure.I also wore them to the beach and while sand did eventually creep in I was excited how much better the experience walking on hot sand was.I wanted to buy other colors but am not crazy about the selection - that is the only reason. Make more attractive (or even a basic black) versions and I will likely purchase again.

These are the best beach shoes I’ve found. The sand doesn’t get in and they are very very adjustable thanks to several points of Velcro. I have had 2 pairs now - the liner finally came out of one of mine and then they were uneven- but I use them all the time for going to the beach. We have a lot of tar there and these are easy to clean. Dry fast. Light weight and I don’t wear socks.
