t:case 480 for t:Flex® Insulin Pumps (Black)

This is a very durable case that fits my t-flex insulin pump and has easy access to all functions on it. I like the style and how you can move the belt clip depending on what clothes your are wearing! Great product

I’ve had this case for 3+ years and it’s the best. I’m ready to replace it with another as it’s seen it’s fair shares of bumps and bruises. Nonetheless, it’s been a saving grace for my $5k+ dollar pump. Worth the money for the level of protection it provides!

bought the blue one last year and finally broke and it was hard to push the button to open the screen

I like the ability to clip it on my belt and the open faced access to the screen. However; the metallic clip is the reason I did not give it a 5 because it tends to come off my belt, at times, when standing up from a sitting position.

The good: it fits my t:flex very well, and probably will serve to protect the pump almost as well as an Otter Box protects a cell phone. But the fit also causes problems: first, it came with no damage nstructions. You have to put it on the pump with no insulin cartridge installed. Second, it fits so tight that the charging jack cover won't stay closed. It is also hard to remove and insert an insulin cartridge. Lastly, the spring clip doesn't hold well on a belt - the pump falls off. The clip needs to have the iner surface roughened to provide friction. Making the clip about 3/4" longer would also do wonders. These are mostly nit picks and I will no doubt continue to use the case, except the belt clip. I'll use a belt pouch instead.

The manufacturers of this product are aware that an insulin pump is worn 24/7 so you would expect the product would be designed with this in mind. After 3 days the metal belt clip that is a thin flexing piece of metal had pulled away from the case and the case was now loose on the belt, within a couple of weeks the metal clip broke off. Also the clip placement has only one option, not 2 like most people are use to, horizontal and vertical based on your preference. I would never order this item again and Tandem need to partner with companies that produce a quality product inline with their pumps.

Works well. These don’t last very long with an active child, but easy to put on and work well.
