Houndstooth Square Shawl (40"x40"), Purple Black

I got my scarf today and I was pretty excited, except for when I opened it and it had a chemical smell on it, and then just trying how to figure out how to fold this thing to fit around my neck was really confusing to me, is there any way that you can give me directions how you tied it in the picture?

The shawl looks exactly as depicted on your site. The problem I have with it is that it has a strong chemical smell. The item must be washed before it can be worn.

It was like by my son to give as a gift to his girl. I think I should have kept this one for myself.

Beautiful colors. Had to wash before gift giving, because they had been in the package too long and smelled like plastic. Company really didn't care that I complained. Would not buy from them again.

the quality is nice. DO NOT WASH IT LIKE PEOPLE INSTRUCTED. its a great scarf but once i washed it like other reviewers here recommended, the fabric became fuzzy and was totally ruined. i dont blame the company for this though. its still a very nice scarf. dont wash it.

Right out of the cellophane bag ~ such a large, open weave, already had pulls and loose threads hanging. It's a beautiful picture, but wouldn't last one wearing. Cheap material to the touch and has an odor. Going back.

This scarf is very pretty and big but there is a chemical smell and i have washed it 5 times and it is still there :(

I thought this would be super-thin, considering the price. Great quality, Although it did smell because of the dye, but a wash will fix that.
