This has increased my scanning speeds no end, it has shortcomings, not allowing long documents to be scanned and doesn't like bumpy cards and staples. I should have gone perhaps for the version capable of scanning A3 but at a greater expense, Still a great product.

Very good product, fast scanning, and many software features.

On initial setup this worked intermittently only then stopped working altogether and kept getting an error code about the twain driver. On the internet I saw that lots of people had the same error code about the Twain driver. with little or no support from Canon and no solution available. I tried the manufacturers website and discovered the PDF manual. This was not provided with the scanner. On reading said manual I find that "The Twain driver supplied with this product supports scanning with 32 bit applications only and even with 32bit not all Twain compliant apps are guaranteed to operate." Not sure why Canon are selling this at all. Have to send it back. Even without this problem the online manual is hugely complicated.Replaced this by buying canon ix1400. Fabulously simple, easy to set up, a much better buy than the Fujitsu image formula R40.

Use this to scan invoices for our business. Lots of scan options. Works quick and scans both sides.I was worried it would have trouble feeding in, but this is working well.I can fill the feeder with about 30 at a time and it feeds without jamming.All good at this time.Probably scanned in over a thousand invoices so far.

Had a bigger Canon scanner previously but after 10 years it was getting a bit tired and emotional.Don’t do as much scanning as I used to so went for this instead. Incredibly easy to use but not as robust as my previous machine. Will probably serve me well but if you do a lot of scanning I’d recommend going for a bigger Canon

The wrong mains lead was supplied.I wanted to use the scanner for scanning photos but I could not any decent results and was not sure the scanner was responding to option changes I made. There is no specific Photo setting.The software and manuals were difficult to follow, quite often different from the diagrams and pictures.

Happy with this little machine. I bought it for the compactness and it is very small and easy to store. Scans are good and the OCR feature works well.Sometimes it doesn't pull in the last page when you scan a batch of paper but it is easy to append more pages to a document. Really happy

This scanner is very fast and simple to use. I use it as my own personal scanner next to my computer.
