Peace of mind - so helpful!!
I purchased this a while ago for my father he is 92 and has Alzheimer’s, and I never hooked it up. It’s super super easy to hook up takes about 1 minute. I was lazy and left it in the box for a year plus. Then a month ago my father fell he slipped out of bed and he spent a week in the hospital with tremendous bruising and awful pain in his back. I felt guilty I should have been there I should have heard him. I have a small nanny camera in his room and I didn’t hear or see the fall at 3:00 am. As soon as we came home from the hospital I put it on his bed and then bought another pad for his chair- IT IS BRILLIANT! The alarm is highly, soft or vibrate and now I can work in my office and and if he gets up I know and I can be there to assist him or just make sure he is ok.A total lifesaver!!

Exactly what I needed
I caretake for my 94 yr old mother with moderate dementia. I needed a device to alert me when she attempts to get out of bed during the night and in the morning. I tried Lundberg bed alarm but it was too sensitive - it alarmed if she made the slightest move. The alarm was constantly activating so I had to turn it off or I would've been awake all night. Unfortunately, there was no way to adjust the sensitivity - It was working as designed. After reading the descriptions for the chair alarm, I decided that could work. I only needed the alarm to activate if she physically got up from the senser pad, which is how the chair alarm is designed. I returned the bed alarm and ordered the the chair alarm. It's been about 2 weeks and so far it's working exactly as I hoped it would. Because she sleeps towards the middle of the bed, she has to slide off the sensor to get to the edge of the bed. She can toss & turn all night and as long as she stays on the sensor pad, it doesn't activate. It's working so well, I ordered a second one to use on her chair during the day.

Absolute necessity for caregiver peace of mind
Works as proposed. Would give five stars if the battery were replaceable and didn't have to replace the entire Sensor pad when battery end of life reached.

Peace of Mind
I love that I can carry the receiver with me in my pocket if I need to be away briefly from patient in wheel chair. I am alerted quickly if he attempts to stand, but he does not hear an alarm that would frighten him. I have it set on lower volume, which is all I need since it is in my pocket or clipped on me anytime I am going to be out of sight range. I use it under his wheelchair cushion, so he doesn't feel it, and it still works each time so far. The added safety is always welcomed with dementia, because the patient believes they can walk still and tries to quite often. The result could be horrible without some of these wonderful alert items. Very happy with purchase.

Won't sync
The pad will not sync with my current remote which was already in use with a bed pad.

Caring for Alzheimer's mom made easier❤️
I care for my mom who has dementia. This allows me to be in other parts of the house and know if she is getting up out of her chair. Great peace of mind.
