Not sure what happened but these older reviews are no longer accurate. I Bought 2 filter packs for 2 purifiers. Doesn’t properly fit either winix 5500 I own. Both fit with different defects 1 has a 1/2 inch gap at the top left corner like it is lopsided. The other is too narrow and has a gap running down the right side of the filter. The carbon filters look like they were cut to size with scissors and poorly measured as well. Made from cheap material you can feel the difference in weight alone with a veva filter vs this one.

These filters look like they're made of similar materials to manufacturer-supplied originals. However, they are slightly smaller, which results in allowing air to enter/exit without being filtered through my Winix Plasmawave. The price was good but I will not buy these again.

the filter has a strange "glue" smell at 1st but after a few hours it goes away. the Carbon filters are PRICELESS it's incredible how much DANDER, LINT, DUST there is in the air! I use TWO machines 24hrs. a day. it puts a dent in my electric bill but it's worth it.

They wotk pretty good, unless your central AC needs a new filter. Then you might as well get back on your allergy and asthma meds, bc the effects of this carbon filter then become minimal.

a CM smaller than the original that came with Winnx 5500, it still fits so not complaining, the product is worth the price. Will review performance in a few months.

When I first opened the HEPA filter, I thought it had been used! The edges appeared soiled, and there was an offensive, volatile aroma when I opened the plastic bag encasing the filter (most likely the glue that appears dried along the edges). Definitely won't buy again!

These replacement filters are just like the original.
