Excellent holiday lights. Even though the bulbs are small, they are very bright and visible at night when lit up. In fact, I prefer the small size because they are less noticeable during the day.The solar panels are small, but provide more than enough electricity to power the lights for hours each night. They have been rained and snowed on multiple times and have held up well. I like that they also have different flashing modes / rates. They are also long enough to string over a fairly large tree or bush.What I was especially pleased about, though, was the company's customer service. One of the strands was defective when I arrived. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement in just a few days. I would definitely purchase these lights again and recommend them highly.

Worked well if we had total sun ALL DAY, it didn't rain, or it didn't snow. Only stayed on a few hours. Were not very bright (but I liked that). It's just that they didn't work most of the time.Update: The seller very graciously offered me a gift card to help with repurchase, so I could try these again. That's very nice, but I don't want to try them again. I understand how they work, and I'm sure they are better in sunny climates, but just not where we have clouds most of the winter.I have raised the review to two stars because they were very responsive and attempted to make my experience better, but really, the review isn't on the seller, it is on the product.

I really wanted these to work out, but they just didn't work. Really, they didn't work. One set lit up for a few days and never came on again. The other set was up for a week or so without lighting up. One night they came on blinking but shut back off about 15 minutes later. Ironically, they both randomly lit up when I took them down 2 weeks later. Whatever. I'm done with these.The lights, when they did work were nice. Looked kind of like little stars. About half the brightness of of regular tree lights. May look silly if you have them both up.The on off switch was an issue with me. It was one button with on/off/blinking settings. But it was almost impossible during the day to figure out which setting was which. I also noticed once they were down, the screws on the back of the solar panel were a bit corroded after only a couple of weeks.Maybe I got a bad batch. If they worked, I'd give them a 3.5-4 based on brightness issues, the issues with on/off switch, etc.

I've been using these over a month now. The hardest part will be to find a place for the little solar panel, but it is small and has a snap in mounting bracket. The warm white lights look great and stay lit for several hours. it is a very long strand, with black string so I hung them along side my patio lights which also have a black string. The second strand I am using them outside for Halloween and they are perfect and will not affect my electricity bill. Another plus is that you don't need to use a timer to turn them on/off - when it gets dark these light will automatically go on/off. So if you want to add a bit of ambiance to your yard this is the strand for you

We thought these would be pretty on our private road sign. The description said to keep out of the weather but after about 3 months, so far, so good in the middle of winter! Even with rain, snow, sleet etc. they are still working. Of course if we have a day with little sunlight they don't stay lit as long, but they always seem to light for 'some' time after it gets dark. I like that they automatically go on and off with the sun/dark. We used one whole roll of 300 lights which took a lot of wrapping around the pole!! The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because they are quite dim and all 300 lights 'just' light the 10 foot pole.** Update, they really started to die after I wrote this review. The ones we had inside our cabin in ME didn't make it through the winter even though they were sheltered from the weather. The cold and short days just killed them.

These light are very long and last nearly all night on a full daylight charge. I really like the color and the decent brightness provided by the bulbs. I use them, along with another color of the same kind, to decorate for festive occasions. I look forward to decorating some bushes in the yard during the holiday season. I won't need to drag a 100' extension cord across the driveway this year!Solar panel is a decent size and angles is adjustable. There is a sealed button on the back to turn it on/off or set it in to blink mode. The battery is removable for replacement when needed. Good deal all around.

I bought these late last year after we moved into a house with a lovely sunroom. We put them up Thanksgiving weekend and used them occasionally over the winter. By New Year's one stopped working. I had hoped it was because it wasn't sitting right in the sun so I moved it around several times, but no it's definitely not functioning. I'll get another battery, but it's a little disappointing that it stopped only after a handful of uses.

Bright for solar lights. Long strands and the small twinkle lights made these perfect for Christmas decoration. Older house with no outside electrical outlets - these were great. Lights stayed on for many hours.
