This product is so easy to use, I wish everything was so easy! It makes a nice level surface for installing vinyl plank flooring, I installed it over an old hardwood floor that is in very rough shape! Some recommend taping seams, I stapled it in place as my lovely cat enjoyed moving it! While price wise, it’s a little pricey but well worth the money, I recommend this to anyone wanting a great product so easy to use!

My review was NOT part of a promotion. I purchased this with 100% of my own hard earned $.I purchased from Amazon after reading favorable reviews at Home Depot - though some reviews were paid promotions!I wanted to put vinyl plank down in the kitchen and front room. The front room floor was 1/4" lower than the kitchen and I did not want to have a transition piece between the rooms.I chose this product based on so many favorable reviews.It was easy to install.After the vinyl installer left I walked around the rooms to admire the pretty new floor.In the areas that I had installed the Quiet Board the floor felt squishy and I could see the planks compress slightly as I walked. Occasionally I could hear popping noises in the flooring as I walked about.In the kitchen area, where the vinyl is installed without Quietboard, the vinyl feels firm and secure.I AM VERY CONCERNED that my new expensive floor will eventually fail as I'm leery that the Quietboard will not support it in the long term.

These worked great to even the height difference between my hardwood and engineered flooring. The install was pretty easy.
