Black Duck Brand Male Extension Cord Replacement Electrical Plugs End (10 Male Electrical Plugs End)

I bought these to wire up a few extra lights for work. They looked reasonably heavy duty and had a couple decent reviews. What I got was disappointing. The tabs for the wire strands have nothing to keep the wire from sliding out on the bottom side, 1 screw on the 1st plug out of the pack stripped immediately. These might be ok for a lamp cord ( even then I would be hesitant due to the lack of the wires being securely held) but anything substantial is out of the question. Lesson learned and 20 bucks down the drain.

Not UL rated but are built very similar to the ones that you can find in local stores that are. Pretty well built, had to bend the clasp over the wires to feel super comfortable about the wire not coming out if you install them straight, but if you bend the wires into a U shape before installing then you are good to go. All in all, pretty darn good value for what you get.

The grounding pins broke off in three plugs. Otherwise, I might also suggest that the overall footprint of the plug be reduced. It is touch to snake behind and through furniture, even those units with openings because of the width.Even so, these are hard to find, and the price is extremely affordable

So far I've only used one of the ten pack I bought. Don't know what the other reviewers complaints were about. For the price, these can't be beat. I was looking for something to shorten an exceedingly long mains cord on a power strip. This did the trick. Was easy to work with. Seems to securely and safely hold the wires.

Description says 10. I only got 5.

My only complaint is that the clamp where the cord enters plug does not hold as tight as a more expensive brand. Other than that it works well.

good quality and price

These are cheaply made and cheaply priced plug ends. If that's what you need, these are perfect. A couple of weird things though. Hot and neutral blades are the same size and all the connection screws are the same color.
