I was looking for a backpack that my preschooler could handle easily (many preschoolers have backpacks covering not onl their backs, but all the way down their thigh!For a child attending Pre-K, this backpack is a perfect size. The communication folder between teacher-parent fits well in main compartment. A chance of clothes fits well in smaller compartment. I dont pack lunch, but it appears to me the main compartment has enough room to fit the average lunch box. My favorite part are the smooth yet strong zippers. And the designs are in good taste. Childish, playful, but not overwhelming with unnecessary glitter (like even the unicorn one doesnt need glitter to be magical).Exterior material is canvas like, so it is not stiff, which I love. Havent tried the moisture-resistance property of the lining, but I believe it should work just fine. Overall, great product.

Adorable! I bought this as a 5th birthday gift for my niece, along with the matching lunchbox. It seems to be of decent quality and size. There are two main zipper compartments, one much larger main compartment and the other smaller on the front, with little pouches inside. The zippers seem to be good quality metal. The design is very cute.The backpack fits normal school notebooks/folders. The purple binder in the picture is about the largest it would fit while still being able to zip it.Would definitely recommend!

My 4yr old daughter is starting Pre-Kindergarten this year. While searching for a nap mat, I saw that Wildkin made matching backpacks & other accessories. I figured that would help my daughter keep track of her stuff, so I ordered the coordinating nap mat, backback, & lunch box. I originally purchased this backpack in the 12 inch size but I quickly realized it was to small the fit the teacher communication folders that the school assigns each child. Fortunately, Wildkin makes their backpacks in several sizes, so I ordered the 15 inch, which will be perfect for her. It's big enough to carry the folder & anything else she might need but not so big that it completely engulfs her backside.The print & colors are exactly as pictured. There is a drink holder on one side. The front pouch is fairly large & I plan on keeping her set of spare clothes in there. It seems to be well made, so it should last her through the year & beyond.

Super sturdy awesome backpack for little kids. Perfect for preschool but would probably be good for early elementary school too. Like third grade and under. Holds a ton of stuff. We've used this for preschool but also trips and visits to theme parks and the zoo. Cuuuute prints. We have the mermaids one. Not uncomfortable for a kid or adult to wear.

My kids are pretty small, I really didn't want to load them with a huge back pack. I needed it to be manageable for them, and this is the perfect size! It fits a regular size folder easily plus all the other stuff they need to pack! My son packs all his snow clothes, minus his coat, extra shoes, his show-n-tell, folder and library book in there! There's not much room for anything else, but it's all in there and he can easily get it in his self. I haven't had any problems with tearing or ripping. He's used it for 2 years now, no problems. I have thrown it in the washer and it cleans right up. I loved his so much that I bought one for my daughter. They are super nice! Highly recommend!

Bought this for our T-K girl in March then started noticing in August, when she started Kinder that it was coming apart at the strap where you hang it on a hook. It was reinforced so didn’t come completely apart but I knew I would eventually. I wrote to the company, not expecting much because there’s a 90 day warranty that had obviously passed. Never heard anything back and honestly I forgot. Then today, a package showed up and to my surprise and it’s an exact replacement! Although they never answered me email, a brand new replacement is above and beyond. Thanks for great customer service and my girl will be happy because she loves this backpack and matching lunch box!

The quality of the bag is great however I've learned to only buy standard sized backpacks for children. I bought this for my child entering Kindergarten. It fits her nicely, however, it barely fits a folder in there without the corners of the folder bending. Also, it doesn't have a drink holder on the side. I didn't think about it when I first bought it but I find that as a necessity as my child goes to school with a water bottle daily. So while it did fit my 5 year old well, I didn't feel like it was an effective product to use. We still use the backpack, my child is 7 now, and it still fits her nicely. It's not a backpack that would work well if you plan on needing it to carry a binder/folder or a water bottle.

Good backpacks, I bought 2 (one pink, and one light blue). Only I didn't get the exact backpacks as pictured. (no outside mesh pocket to put water bottles). They looked small and I was worried that I'd have to return them but my 2nd grader can fit her folders, lunch box (got the matching lunch boxes), sweater, water bottle in the main storage space and fit extra clothes in the smaller zipper pocket.

Love it! Good quality. Just the right size for my daughter, who started kindergarten this year.
