I found the item and it is good!

The iron oxide worked great for making magnetic slime with my grandson🙂

The product is as described . . . so the disappointment may have been our attempted "science project" and not the iron filings.After failing to make "easy, fun, magnetic putty" with the recipe we found online, we bought some Silly Putty and tried to make it with that - but that didn't work either. The magnet just pulled the filings out of the Silly Putty.

Good price, great for making magnetic slime. A little goes a long way.

-Good sized jar with more than enough for our project.-Great value for money as everyone at the fair was able to sample our magnets.-Performed as expected.-Easy to use, clean up and store.

At least they have a top that has holes in it, so you don’t remove the top, but even then- be very careful as the particles are fine and should not be used with young children. They get under their fingernails and should only be used with an adult & with caution. I donated it to the school as there was no way I could allow my grandson to keep it in his house with a good conscience. Personally, I feel one should be able to return it because there are no warnings but now you have one.
