Hi Nene Yes, AD480 can scan up to Maximum: 216 x 914.4 mm (8.5" x 36") paper, and you need select "auto size" on paper size , Plustek

Hi floridamike The AD480 could scan your documents which cut from the books. But for photos, I would not recommend you to buy it due to the design can't protect your photos between scan process. For photos would recommend you to use ephoto Z300 scanner. This scanner designed with specific feeder to protect your photos and supports to scan one at a time due to the old photos quite weak. Hi Judy Sorry , AD480 dob't have USB drive slot, so for save to USB drive, need via PC or Mac to save to USB.
