Five Star Sheet for a Three Star Pad
I have owned two of these Klymit V Sheets for almost two years. I also have two each of the Klymit Static V Pad and Klymit X Pillow. The sheet and pillow are absolutely amazing together, and are both fantastic pieces of engineering that none of Klymit's competitors (surprisingly) seem to have picked up on. The pad needs improvement - especially with the air valve - but I'll get to that in another review. My son is an Eagle Scout. Over the past seven years, we have tent camped over 125 nights, with many of those spent deep in the backcountry. We've also spent nights sprawled out wherever we could find space on a catamaran, and on uncomfortable cots and flat mattresses in rustic cabins. As he's aged, our camping habits have changed. The bulky Coleman pads and sleeping bags were replaced with feather-light Thermarest pads and narrow Nemo mummy bags. We've learned what works and what doesn't, and have realized the need to have a variety of gear options for different seasons and scenarios.I purchased our Klymit sleep systems shortly before we embarked on a 5-night sailing trip in the Bahamas. I wanted something that would pack down small because we had to fit all of our gear into 45L duffel bags, and I also wanted an additional option for warm-weather backpacking. The Klymit Static V with sheet and pillow fit that bill nicely, especially when paired with a Horizon Hound 55 degree quilt. The whole system packed down so small that it could be contained in a 2 gallon Ziplock bag along with a Flextail air pump and a pair of sleep shorts and t-shirt with room to spare. While this system was purchased for a specific purpose, it has become my go-to for warm weather camping and any cabin camping. This review is specifically for the Klymit Static V Sheet, and it is absolutely my favorite part of the sleep system. So much so that we have begun using the sheet and pillow on another manufacturer's pad that is better insulated and has a better air valve system. The material on the sheet is very soft and stays firmly in place thanks to the strap that wraps around the underside of the pad. It makes sleeping on the pad in summer a pleasant experience, and I love that it protects the pad from sweat, body oil, and other grime. It seems to hold up well in the washing machine. After two years and several washes, both sheets are still in good shape (although one has a slight run in the fabric). The pillow sleeve is a fantastic idea, and extremely useful. We used to carry small pillow cases with us in order to protect our pillows. Inevitably, my pillow would slide off the pad and I'd find myself fumbling around searching for it in the middle of the night. The sleeve on the Klymit sheet holds the pillow firmly in place, whether I'm using the small Klymit X Pillow or a larger Thermarest foam pillow. A few other manufacturers have started making sheets for their pads (like Thermarest), but Zenbivy is the only other one I've found that has a method to secure your pillow. I did just purchase a Zenbivy Light Sleep System for 3-season backpacking, but I have not yet had the chance to use it. And the Klymit system is certainly much less of a financial investment. The one complaint I have is that the pad does tend to curl up a little when you attach the sheet, although it usually flattens back out once you lay down on it. This is a minor annoyance compared to the comfort and functionality of the sheet. I believe Klymit has used the same design for a number of years, and the only suggestion for improvement I have is that I wish there were some loops on the edges of the sheet so you could fasten down a quilt. This is one thing that the Thermarest sheet does offer, and Zenbivy has their own proprietary system to attach their quilts and prevent air gaps.I will probably use my new Zenbivy system and Nemo Tensor Regular Wide Pad when we go backpacking in New Mexico this summer. But my son will be using his Nemo Tensor Regular Pad with a new REI Magma 30 Quilt. And I can guarantee he'll be taking along his Klymit Static V Sheet and Klymit X Pillow to complete his sleep system.

Durable, comfortable, built-in pillow pouch and dual-button fastening snaps keeps the sheet in place all night.
I purchased this Klymit V-sheet to go with my new Insulated Ultralite SL pad. The sheet was made to fit the Static V, V2, and Insulated V specifically but the dimensions of my pad were a little bit smaller so I figured I would give it a try. It does not fit perfectly but it does the trick and there is nothing else on the market that does a better job that I have found. The sheet fits very well and certainly adds an extra level of comfort that is always welcome when sleeping outdoors.Main Benefits:- On warm nights this sheet makes it very comfortable to sleep with a fitted sheet and a simple blanket. If you are sleeping with a sleeping bag and will not be touching the pad directly the sheet is not as necessary. The benefit though would be the pad is less slippery so you will stay put easier.- There is a convenient fill valve opening that allows the valve to stick out of the sheet in the top corner.- Built-in pillow pouch holds your Klymit pillow in place. I have the rectangular Luxe pillow which fits perfectly. The listing says the Pillow X and Pillow X Large are great fits as well but I prefer the Luxe.- Edges of the sheet go over the pad and secure nicely in the back with dual snaps to keep the sheet in place.- Not advertised but when moving around I simply left the sheet on the pad and just rolled up the pad and sheet together in one which was pretty convenient.- Machine washable for easy cleaning and care.Cons:While the sheet does stay put I think they could have made the sheet just a hair bigger and it would have fit better. Rather than that I have no complaints, there is nothing else on the market like this and anything that makes my hiking or camping experience better is well worth the money.I have a bad back and camping was always unobtainable until a friend introduced me to the Klymit brand. Anything that can tip the scales to make the sleeping experience better while camping is worth every cent in my opinion.

For a more comfortable sleep......
I actually got this as a gift but after having had a chance to play with it a little, I know I'll be getting one for myself when it's time to get a new pad. It's incredibly lightweight for backpacking, seems well made, it's soft, has a pocket to help keep your pillow and should help retain some heat on those colder nights. Klymit usually makes good products though so I'm sure this will be a great pad accessory that should last for years of use!

Very welcoming to revisit use of our Klymit mats
We’ve had Klymit mats for several years of Army and camping with Scouts. We normally hang now, but had to sleep on the deck of our 40’ sailboat for Sea Base (Scout High-Adventure). Given it was a humid night nightly, the sheet did well at moisture control and prevented that sticky feeling when directly on the mat in these conditions. Deflated and rolled the whole bed mat assembly every morning and stowed below until the next night. Only minor adjustments to get everything situated again.Photo is where I slept, on the footpath of our vessel between the rails and hump.

Works great with my Big Agnes!
I bought this on a whim to see if it would keep the noise level of my big agnes Q core down while I slept. It fits my regular Big Agnes Q-Core like a glove, even the snaps in the middle fit great. The pillow section fits my Nemo Fillo Elite (the one that inflates and has the memory foam) and I got probably the best night's sleep on trail with this. My pillow didn't move, it cut down on the noise of my sleeping pad, and it made the whole thing just feel more like sleeping at home. Strongly recommend!
